An antenna structure is disclosed. In the embodiment, the antenna structure includes a substrate and an antenna that is formed on the substrate, the antenna having a first end and a second end that are separated. The antenna structure also includes a heating element formed on the substrate with at least a portion of the heating element being located in the separation between the first and second ends of the antenna, with the heating element being electrically separate from the antenna.

A transmission arrangement for a radio station of an access system may include a printed circuit board with an upper main surface and a first metallization plane in which conducting paths are formed. A drive circuit for supplying a frequency signal and an antenna structure are also provided. The antenna structure includes a coupling device, a conductor structure and a continuous, electrically conductive path having first and second ends opposite each other. The coupling device is configured to couple a frequency signal supplied by the drive circuit into the conductor structure. The first and/or second ends form end(s) of the conductor structure. An antenna device has a first antenna branch and a second antenna branch. Both the first and the second antenna branches have the shape of a non-closed conductor loop and are connected to each other to form a cohesive conductor loop. The respective loop ends are disposed parallel to each other at a distance directed perpendicular (z axis) to the course of the loop. The present invention is directed to an antenna for radio-operated communication terminal devices. For effecting a multi-band antenna, a planar inverted-F antenna is provided that is designed in size for a predetermined, lower emission frequency and that includes one or more notchings or graduations in longitudinal direction with which one or more geometrical paths derive over whose course emittable waves form with a higher frequency than the predetermined, lower frequency.

A tunable antenna includes separate radiator parts coupled to one another. The coupling between the parts is changed by rotating and/or displacing the parts with respect to one another such that the antenna exhibits a radiation pattern associated with a respective degree of a rotation and/or displacement. A process for manufacturing such antennas includes constructing parts for a respective antenna, coupling the parts to one another to permit them to rotate and/or displace, measuring the radiation pattern of the parts, and adjusting the radiation pattern by rotating and/or displacing the parts with respect to one another to set a nominal radiation pattern of the respective antenna formed by the parts. The couple is changed by rotation and/or displacement of the parts. A respective degree of rotation and/or displacement creates a corresponding change of a radiation pattern of the parts.
