A first electrical wiring harness may be connectable to a vehicle and a second electrical wiring harness may be connectable to a snow/ice control device. A replaceable connector may be used between the first and second wiring harnesses so that it is easy to connect the wiring harnesses to each other and thereby electrically connect the snow/ice control device to the vehicle.

An auger may have a spiral blade that extends radially outwardly from a shaft and that has resiliently-deformable material at the radial outer edge that physically contacts the inner surface of the tube in which the auger is positioned. When the auger is not rotated, the physical contact of the resiliently-deformable material on the inner surface of the tube may prevent granular material from flowing through the opening in the tube.

A snowplow assembly may include a vehicle attachment component, a blade support component and a snowplow blade that are each formed in a rotational molding process. These components may be manually assembled and manually attached to the vehicle. The snowplow blade may be manually positioned adjusted.

Rotationally molded snowplow assembly

A mounting collar is for supporting a vacuum cleaner filter bag in a mounted condition over a vacuum cleaner fill tube. The fill tube has a cylindrical outer surface. A panel of the mounting collar is configured to be attached to the filter bag. The panel has a first inner edge defining a first opening for receiving the fill tube. An elastomeric diaphragm of the collar extends across the first opening. The diaphragm has a second inner edge defining a second opening. The second inner edge is configured to be elastically stretched circumferentially about the fill tube and to be in contact with the cylindrical outer surface about the entire circumference of the cylindrical outer surface when the first opening receives the fill tube. A lobe of the diaphragm is defined by the second inner edge and a baseline. The baseline extends from a first point on the second inner edge to a second point on the second inner edge and is located entirely on the diaphragm.

A multi-component flow passage assembly is disclosed which incorporates an improved sealing adaptor structure. The adaptor includes a generally-cylindrical adaptor body with a rim for seating on the periphery of a first flow passage section, e.g. a vacuum cleaner horn. The adaptor body is made to include a bead which is received within a lip on the horn. The rim includes a sealing ring section in the shape of an O-ring for sealingly engaging the perimeter of a second flow passage section, which is connected to e.g. a vacuum cleaner attachment. The present assembly provides a better seal and simplified construction over previous devices.

Multi-component flow passage assembly with snap in sealing adaptor

A shaped rigid thermoplastic cradle and leveler for vessels such as sanitaryware is disclosed. The cradle and leveler are separately formed or integrally shaped from a single thermoformed sheet of rigid thermoplastic material. The rigid thermoplastic material has a flexural modulus of at least about 300,000 psi to provide sufficient rigidity in the sidewall of the cradle. The leveler includes an integral floor leveling means for providing a designed pitch so as to conform to the desired pitch of the floor region of the vessel toward the drain hole. The floor region comprises a plurality of tapering, alternating upper and lower contacting regions. Between each adjacent upper contacting region is defined unsupported span regions having the shortest distance between adjacent upper contact regions of not more than 12 inches (30.5 cm). Preferably the shortest distance between adjacent upper contact regions defining the unsupported span is from 2.5 inches to about 6 inches. A variety of rigid thermoplastic materials are adaptable herewith and include acrylonitrile-butadiene- styrene copolymers, styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer, acrylonitrile-styrene-methacrylate copolymers, polystyrene, styrene-alpha methyl styrene copolymers, polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, and polyvinyl chloride. The most preferred embodiment comprises rigid fiber reinforced polyvinyl chloride.
