An injection device including a housing, a dose indicator, and a release mechanism. The dose indicator is positioned within the internal space of the housing and includes a number of engaging members at least one thereof being configured to contact multiple of distinct ratchet features in course of a helical or screwing movement in distinct positions to provide a user with a tactile indexing appearance in the way of an increased or decreased dwelling torque at each of the multiple distinct positions. The release mechanism is connected to the dose indicator and includes a drive member. The release mechanism is configured to, when activated during dose dispense, urge the engaging members away from the distant position and against the force of the resilient bias thereby suspending the indexing ratchet appearance at least for a subset of the multiple distinct positions.

Injection device

The present disclosure is generally directed to an attachment mechanism suitable for attaching for example a module to an object that is essentially cylindrical or polygonal in cross-section, e.g. to a portion of a drug delivery device. Further, the disclosure is directed to an electronic system, which is configured to be, e.g. releasably, attached to the drug delivery device as well as an assembly comprising the the electronic system as well as the drug delivery device. The attachment mechanism may comprise a housing, a gripping portion with at least one gripping ring and an actuator for operating the gripping portion between an open condition and a clamping condition.

A system is provided for providing additional information to a user of an injection device, the system comprising an injection device, a user device and instructions for use of the injection device, the instructions for use comprising at least one tag, wherein the tag is associated with the instructions for use or with a section or a subsection of the instructions for use, wherein the memory of the user device stores instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the user device to: scan, using a camera and/or a wireless module, the tag; identify the instructions for use or the section of the instructions for use which the tag is associated with; based on the identification, provide the user with additional information on the particular instructions for use or the particular section of the instructions for use.

System and method for providing additional information to a user of an injection device

A device comprising at least one camera, a display, a memory and a processor, the memory storing instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the device to: display, using the display of the device, a content to be reviewed by the user; detect, using the camera of the device, user's eyes; detect, using the camera of the device, user's eye movements; determine, based on the detected user's eye movements, whether the user has reviewed the content.

Needle safety device and drug delivery device

A shaving unit for a dry shaver includes at least one outer cutter and one under cutter. Driven by a motor, the outer cutter and the under cutter are movable relative to each other in an oscillatory motion. The under cutter and the outer cutter, which are biased into relative engagement by at least one spring, slide along a common contact surface.
