The present disclosure concerns a multi-spectral image printing method. The method includes the steps of:&#x2014;providing a multi-spectral image;&#x2014;providing a material;&#x2014;determining changes in a refractive index value of the material permitting to reproduce the multi-spectral image when the material is illuminated; and&#x2014;generating the changes in refractive index value in the material.

The invention refers to a method for analyzing reflected light of an object. First a light angle distribution for a point of the object is determined. Then a plenoptic projector is controlled to illuminate the point of the object with the determined light angle distribution. Then the reflected light intensity of the point of the object is measured and the measured reflected light is analyzed in dependence of the determined light angle distribution.

A system for automated annotation of images and videos points a mobile device towards an object of interest, such as a building or landscape scenery, for the device to display an image of the scene with an annotation for the object. An annotation can include names, historical information, and links to databases of images, videos, and audio files. Different techniques can be used for determining positional placement of annotations, and, by using multiple techniques, positioning can be made more precise and reliable. The level of detail of annotation information can be adjusted according to the precision of the techniques used. A trade-off can be taken into account between precision of annotation and communication cost, delay and/or power consumption. An annotation database can be updated in a self-organizing way. An optical touch-sensitive device has the capability to determine touch locations of multiple simultaneous touch events. The touch events disturb optical beams propagating across the touch sensitive surface. With multi-touch events, a single beam can be disturbed by more than one touch event. In one aspect, a non-linear transform is applied to measurements of the optical beams in order to linearize the effects of multiple touch events on a single optical beam. In another aspect, the effect of known touch events (i.e., reference touches) is modeled in advance, and then unknown touch events are determined with respect to the reference touches.
