The present disclosure relates to an electrically activatable actuating unit () for a motor vehicle brake system (), having a housing body () and an actuating member () arranged in a recess () of the housing body (), wherein the actuating member () is coupleable to a brake pedal at a first end and coupleable to a motor vehicle brake () at a second, opposite end. The housing body () and the actuating member () are arranged to be displaceable in a braking direction to actuate the motor vehicle brake (). The electrically activatable actuating unit () furthermore comprises a damping element (A,B), which is arranged in the recess () of the housing body () such that it abuts frictionally against an outer wall of the actuating member () by means of an inner circumferential face () and abuts frictionally against an inner wall () of the housing body () by means of an outer, opposite circumferential face (), which inner wall delimits the recess ().

The invention relates to an electromechanical brake booster for a vehicle brake system, comprising an actuating unit that can be coupled to a brake cylinder. The actuating unit comprises at least one actuating element that can be coupled to an electric motor by means of a transmission. The actuating unit also comprises an actuating member that can be coupled to a force input member. The brake booster comprises at least one housing in which at least sections of the actuating unit are received. At least one damping element is arranged between the at least one housing and at least the at least one actuating element.

A master brake cylinder arrangement for a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system, comprising a master brake cylinder housing with a cylindrical recess and at least one substantially annular groove which is oriented transversally to a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical recess and which is axially delimited by a protruding housing portion. The master brake cylinder arrangement also comprises at least one pressure piston which can be displaced axially in the cylindrical recess of the master brake cylinder housing and which is guided in a sealed manner by means of at least one seal element arranged in the groove. The housing portion has an edge portion which faces the seal element and an edge portion which faces away from the seal element when viewed in the axis-containing longitudinal section. The edge portion facing the seal element and the edge portion facing away from the seal element have a curved contour when viewed in the axis-containing longitudinal section, the edge portion facing the seal element and the edge portion facing away from the seal element being curved to different degrees.

Master brake cylinder arrangement for a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system

A sealing element seals a pressure piston which is movably arranged in a housing of a brake cylinder. The sealing element may be inserted into a ring-shaped groove which is provided in the housing. The sealing element includes an outer sealing lip for contact with a floor of the ring-shaped groove, an inner sealing lip for contact with the pressure piston, and a sealing element back. At least one non-sealing spacer element is provided on the sealing element back.

Sealing element for a brake cylinder of a vehicle braking system

A master cylinder for a vehicle hydraulic brake system has a housing with a bore formed therein, which is open at one end and in which a first pressure piston and a second pressure piston are guided sealingly and displaceably along an axis. Acting counter to an actuating direction upon the first pressure piston is a restrained first restoring spring and upon the second pressure piston a second restoring spring. In order, in a transportation or disassembly state of the master cylinder, to prevent the first pressure piston from being pressed excessively out of the bore, the second pressure piston is supported by means of a stop component counter to the actuating direction positively in the housing of the master cylinder.

A master cylinder includes a restraining device arranged between the first and second pistons for preventing the return spring from being compressed and expanded beyond a certain extent. The restraining device includes a first, substantially sleeve-shaped component and a second, substantially pin-shaped component. The pin-shaped component includes a flange which projects radially outwards. The sleeve-shaped component includes a first receiving flange which positively interacts with the flange of the pin-shaped component. The sleeve-shaped component includes at least one introduction opening which enables the flange on the pin-shaped component to be laterally introduced into the sleeve-shaped component. The end of the sleeve-shaped component includes a second receiving flange which positively interacts with a flanged projection on the second piston which projects radially outwards. The sleeve-shaped component includes the at least one introduction opening which enables the flange provided on the second piston to be laterally introduced into the sleeve-shaped component.

An annular sealing element (,) for sealing an annular gap between the inner surface of a cylindrical wall and a cylindrical piston which can be displaced axially relative to said wall and is arranged concentrically therewith, has two separate annular and axially adjoining parts (,), of which the first part (,) consists of an elastomer material and the second part (,) consists of a rigid material. In order to ensure, in conjunction with a displaceable body of a valve, that the opening and closing behavior of the valve is as constant as possible, the two parts (,) are connected to one another in a releasable manner, and the part (,) made of rigid material has an axial protrusion (,) which is formed integrally with it, runs around it in the form of a ring, passes more or less to the full extent through the part (,) made of elastomer material and has its end surface covered over to the full extent by the part (,) made of elastomer material. The axial protrusion (,), which runs around in the form of a ring, is designed and arranged such that a radial wall thickness S,of the part (,) made of elastomer material, on the radially inner flank of said protrusion, is approximately equal to a radial wall thickness S,on the radially outer flank of said protrusion. The radial extent S of the protrusion (,) is not more than 70% of the sum of the wall thicknesses S,&plus;S,.
