The present disclosure describes an injector for an internal combustion engine which includes an injector housing, a piezo-actuator control unit having a first set of terminals, a connecting plug on a head of the injector housing, the connecting plug having a second set of terminals, and an electrical connection between the control unit and the connecting plug within the injector housing. The electrical connection comprises a contact element with conductor tracks integrated into an insulating body. The conductor tracks are connected to the terminals of the control unit and of the connecting plug. A first end of the insulating body abuts the control unit or the connecting plug and a second end is spaced from the connecting plug or the control unit. The contact element includes an elastic device by means of which the insulating body is braced against the component it abuts.

Injector and contact element for the same

An actuating drive for an injection valve may comprise: a sleeve-shaped actuator housing; an actuator unit disposed in the housing; at least one actuator feed line; at least one connector contact; a housing unit; a cover; and a first sealing unit. The at least one actuator feed line may protrude from an end-side opening of the actuator housing. The at least one connector contact may be coupled electrically to the at least one actuator feed line and configured to be coupled electrically to a system-side connector. The housing unit may be arranged along a circumference of the actuator housing in an end-side shell surface section of the actuator housing and configured to fix the at least one connector contact in a predefined position. The cover may close a cavity defined by the housing unit and be coupled mechanically to the housing unit. The first sealing element may be arranged between the housing unit and the cover to prevent penetration of solid, liquid, or gaseous media into the cavity.

Actuating drive for an injection valve, and injection valve

An injection valve may have a nozzle body with a longitudinal axis, in which a nozzle body aperture and at least one injection opening are arranged, wherein the nozzle body aperture can be coupled hydraulically to a high-pressure circuit for a fluid, at least one nozzle needle arranged in an axially movable manner in the nozzle body aperture, wherein the nozzle needle prevents fluid flow through the at least one injection opening in a closing position and allows fluid flow through the at least one injection opening outside the closing position, an actuator housing, which is designed to accommodate an actuator designed to act on the nozzle needle, and at least one fluid line, which is designed for hydraulic coupling to the high-pressure circuit for the fluid and is constructed and arranged separately from the actuator housing, and is directly coupled hydraulically to the nozzle body aperture.

Injection valve

An interference fit assembly () is made of a first metal part (), which has a recess () with an inner contact surface () and a second metal part () arranged in the recess () of the first metal part (), wherein the second metal part has an outer contact surface (). The inner contact surface () of the first metal part is in contact with the outer contact surface () of the second metal part (), and at least one of the contact surfaces () features a layer (), which is made of a material, which differs from the material of the first metal part () and the material of the second metal part () and which comprises nickel or copper.

Interference fit assembly

A body has at least one first metallic body part and one second metallic body part. The first body part is coated with a nickel-phosphor layer. The first and second body parts are assembled. The first and second body parts are heated such that a soldered connection is produced between the first and second body part as a result of the nickel-phosphor layer.

Method for manufacturing a body

An injection valve has an injector housing () and an actuator and also a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly has a nozzle body () with a recess () into which a nozzle needle () is introduced and at one axial end of which an injection nozzle () is embodied. The recess () has, axially adjacent to the injection nozzle (), a first guide region () for the nozzle needle (). The recess () also has at least one cross-sectional extension which extends toward the other axial end. The recess () is embodied for the purpose of delivering fluid to the injection nozzle (). A guide bushing () is introduced into the recess () in a subsection of the cross-sectional extension, the guide bushing () forming a second guide region () for the nozzle needle () and being embodied for conducting fuel radially outside of the second guide region ().

Nozzle assembly and injection valve

An injector, especially for an accumulator injection device, comprises an inlet connection (), a leakage connection () and an electric connection (). The leakage connection () and the electric connection () are embodied as a single-piece injection component (), wherein the component is directly injection-moulded onto the injector ().

Injector with improved connection geometry

A nozzle body has a first nozzle body element () and a second nozzle body element (). The first nozzle body element () is provided with a first nozzle-needle recess () accommodating an nozzle-needle () and a first guide area () for the nozzle-needle (). In a first process step, the first nozzle body element () is assembled with the second nozzle body element (). Brazing solder having a working temperature in the range of the tempering temperature of the first nozzle body element () is supplied to an assembly area (). The assembly area () is defined between the second nozzle body element () and the first nozzle body element (). The assembled first nozzle body element () and second nozzle body element () is subjected to tempering during which the tempering temperature of the first nozzle body element () is reached.

Method for producing an injector body and corresponding injector body

An injection module comprises a housing (), inside of which an actuator element () and an injection valve are arranged. The actuator element () is designed for controlling the injection valve by a setting stroke. A compensating element () is provided that is connected to the actuator element () in order to compensate for the change in length of the housing () caused by thermal expansion.

Injection module

A transfer device for transferring an actuator displacement, has a housing with a first recess having a first and second plunger displaceably mounted. These plungers are actively connected via at least one transfer chamber by a fluid. The active connection causes the second plunger to be displaced when the first plunger is moved and vice versa. The transfer chamber is hydraulically coupled via a sealing gap to a compensating chamber compensating the pressure differences, in a delayed manner. The transfer device also has a chamber device with a compensating chamber, a chamber housing, and a first plunger. The chamber device has a device with a first body with a recess including a second body, and with an elastomer placed in the recess between the first and second body. The elastomer has a first groove extending at least partially along the recess.

Device, method for producing the device, chamber device and transfer device

A lifting apparatus comprising a counter bearing () provided with a first recess (), having a conical bearing surface (), and an actuator unit comprising an actuator () whose axial extension is dependent upon an actuating signal. The actuator unit has a shoulder which is formed in an area of the actuator unit which faces away from the output and which has a domed surface (). The domed surface () of the actuator unit rests upon the conical bearing surface () of the counter-bearing (). The injection valve comprises said lifting device and an injector needle which is coupled to the lifting apparatus on the output side thereof and which prevents the flow of fluid through the injector nozzle when closed and otherwise releases it.

Lifting apparatus and injection valve

A compensating element () for an injection valve has a cup-shaped body () with a cup base () and a recess. Furthermore, the compensating element has a piston () which makes a clearance fit in respect of the recess of the cup-shaped body () on an axially extending guide segment () of the piston () and which is arranged at least partially axially moveable with the guide segment () in the recess of the cup-shaped body (). A sealing element () is arranged on the side of the guide segment () facing away from the cup base () and couples the cup-shaped body () with the piston (). A hydraulically and/or pneumatically sealed system is delimited by the cup-shaped body (), the piston () and the sealing element (). The coupling of the sealing element () with the cup-shaped body () and/or the piston () is friction-fit.

Injection valve and compensating element for an injection valve

A circuit arrangement for operating a linear exhaust-gas probe has a measuring cell for measuring a gas concentration by determining a measuring-cell voltage, in addition to a pump cell for pumping gas. A comparator circuit compares the measuring-cell voltage with a target voltage and provides a corresponding analog deviation signal. A pump current source provides the pump current is controlled by the deviation signal using a control circuit for the approximation of the measuring cell voltage to the target voltage. In order to reliably limit the pump voltage with no significant detrimental effect on the operation, the circuit also comprises: a second comparator circuit for comparing the pump voltage with a predefined threshold voltage and for providing a corresponding binary switching signal; and a counter coupling path between the output of the pump current source and the control circuit, the path being enabled when the threshold voltage is exceeded.

Connecting piezoactuator

The invention relates to a method and an injector for determining a position of a second part () inside a stepped boring (). This part should assume an exact distance (H) from a first part (). In order to determine the distance (H) between both parts (), a collar () is firstly introduced into a second boring () of the stepped boring () until it rests upon a step () of the stepped boring (). Afterwards, a punch (), together with a touch probe (), which is located inside a longitudinal boring (d), is placed upon a lower annular surface () of the collar () or on an underside () of the first part (), and the collar () is compressed until the predetermined distance (H) is obtained. The distance (H) is measured to a reference measure (x) between a projecting end piece (E) of the touch probe () and a reference mark (B) outside of the punch (). The stamping process is stopped once the reference measure (x) has been obtained.

Method for determining the position of a component in a stepped bore of a housing, and an injector for fuel injection

In an actuator unit, the piezo actuator () is located inside a tubular spring () under pre-stress. To compensate the thermal length modifications of the piezo actuator () in relation to the actuator housing (), the compensation element is configured as an aluminium compensation cylinder () that is situated in an extension tube (). The piezo actuator () and the compensation cylinder () are mounted in series and conjointly pre-stressed by means of the tubular spring () that is extended in relation to the actuator housing by the extension tube ().
