The blister pack for medicinal products comprises a bottom film in which blister pockets are formed, which are surrounded by webs of the bottom film. The blister pockets comprise a two-level shape with a first recess and second recess situated lower down. A lidding film is sealed to the webs of the bottom film and to a strip of active material, which is arranged in each blister pocket. The medicinal product is accommodated in the second recess, and the strip of active material is accommodated in the first recess. The first recess comprises, in a bottom area thereof, a peripheral rib, which extends around the second recess, or at least two projecting knobs, which are arranged next to the second recess, wherein the strip of active material rests on the rib or on the knobs.

The method for producing blister packs for medicinal products comprises the steps of forming blister pockets in a bottom film, wherein each blister pocket has an at least two-level shape with a first recess and a second, lower recess, filling the second recesses of the blister pockets with the medicinal products, placing a strip of active material in the first recess of each blister pocket above the medicinal product, wherein the strip of active material rests on at least one support surface of the first recess next to the second recess, sealing a lidding film to webs of the bottom film arranged around the blister pockets and simultaneously to the strips of active material, thus forming a sealed blister web, and stamping out individual blister packs from the blister web.

A supply tube has a conveying channel of a substantially rectangular cross-section formed therein for successively supplying tablets, pills, capsules, drag&#xe9;es and similar products from a reservoir under the effect of gravity to a receptacle. The conveying channel has several successively arranged sections adjoining one another, wherein successive sections are inclined alternately in different directions with respect to a longitudinal plane of the supply tube thereby enclosing an angle of less than 45&#xb0; with the longitudinal plane, and wherein the cross-section of the successive sections is distorted by an angle of up to about 90&#xb0; around the longitudinal plane.

An apparatus for transferring a plurality of objects from a pickup station to blisters of an adjacent passing foil has a stationary support adjacent the foil and pickup station and defining a support axis and an arm pivotal on the support about the support axis and extending radially from the support axis. A slide shiftable on the arm radially of the support axis defines a slide axis about which a suction grab can pivot. The suction grab is adapted to pick up and drop a plurality of the objects. First and second drives have motors on the support and serve for pivoting the arm about the support axis between a pickup position with the grab over the pickup station and a deposit position with the grab over the passing foil and for shifting the slide along the arm.

Apparatus for loading small objects into blisters of packaging foil

Small objects are loaded into blisters of a passing packaging film in a fill station of a packaging machine. An apparatus for distributing the objects to the blisters has a pair of generally parallel rods extending along respective axes and having inner and outer ends. Respective guides support the rods for movement parallel to their axes, and a bar extends transversely between the outer ends. An actuator mechanism periodically synchronously rotating the rods. Respective couplings between each of the outer ends and the bar transversely shifting the bar relative to the rods on rotation of the rods.
