A battery housing for a battery, in particular for a motor vehicle. The battery housing includes a housing base, a housing cover arranged opposite from the housing base, and multiple side walls, wherein a chamber is enclosed between the side walls, the housing base and the housing cover. At least one side wall of the multiple side walls comprises two side wall elements, which are arranged opposite each other and which form a duct between them.

Traction battery of a motor vehicle includes a battery frame which is assembled from supports. A plurality of battery modules are accommodated in the battery frame and are each composed of a plurality of battery cells which are accommodated in a module housing of the respective battery module. The respective module housing is assembled from side walls and a base wall. The base wall of the respective module housing is designed as a cooling panel for cooling the battery cells. A cover panel is connected to is the battery frame. An underride guard panel is connected to the battery frame.

A motor vehicle has an electrochemical cell, which includes an electrode stack of at least two electrodes in a parallel arrangement. A cross-sectional surface of the electrochemical cell is thereby adapted to the cross-sectional surface of the accommodation compartment. A motor vehicle has at least one drive unit for generating a drive torque, and has an accelerator pedal which is acted on with a restoring force and which can be adjusted by an actuating travel in order to predefine a setpoint torque. The motor vehicle also has a control device which actuates the drive unit on the basis of the setpoint torque. The control device additionally determines a presently available drive torque, and as a function of the presently available drive torque, varies the characteristic curve of the accelerator pedal, which expresses the restoring force versus the actuating travel of the accelerator pedal.
