A coating composition for producing a layer composite, including a) a modified or unmodified polyvinyl alcohol, b) an alkylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer, c) a crosslinker, and d) one, two or more than two, pigments. The layer composite is used as food packaging, entry ticket, gaming ticket, car park ticket, or the like. A mixture of alkylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer and modified or unmodified polyvinyl alcohol is used in a layer of a layer composite, to the use of a coating composition for producing a layer composite.

Coating composition for producing a layer composite

A heat-sensitive recording material having i) a supporting substrate and ii) a heat-sensitive recording layer, where the heat-sensitive recording layer comprises a colour former and a colour developer mixture and the colour developer mixture comprises a) N-[2-(3-phenylureido)phenyl]benzenesulfonamide (compound of the formula (I)), where the compound of the formula (I) is in a crystalline form having an absorption band at 3401 &#x25a1; 20 cm 1 in the IR spectrum, and b) N-(4-methylphenylsulfonyl)-N'-(3-(4-methylphenylsulfonyloxy)phenyl) urea (compound of the formula (II)), where the mass ratio between the compound of the formula (I) and the compound of the formula (II) is 0.5:99.5 to 35:65 or 99.5:0.5 to 65:35.

Heat-sensitive recording material

A heat-sensitive recording material having i) a carrier substrate and ii) a heat-sensitive recording layer. The heat-sensitive recording layer contains a color former and a color developer mixture and the color developer mixture contains a) N/-[2-(3-phenylureido)phenyl]benzole sulfonamide (compound of formula (I)). The compound of formula (I) is present in a crystalline form, which has an absorption band in the IR spectrum at 3401&#xb1;20 cm&#x2212;1, and b) N-(4-methylphenylsulfonyl)-N-(3-(4-methylphenylsulfonyloxy)phenyl)urea (compound of formula (II)).

A heat-sensitive recording material has a web-shaped substrate, having a front side and a reverse side opposite the front side, a heat-sensitive recording layer disposed to the front side of the web-shaped substrate, including at least one dye precursor and at least one (color) developer reactive with this at least one dye precursor. A front-side surface of the heat-sensitive recording material is formed dehesively with respect to layers of adhesive applied to the reverse side of the web-shaped substrate. The dehesive front-side surface includes a furnish which is disposed above the heat-sensitive recording layer and comprises at least one release agent. A diffusion layer is formed between the furnish and the heat-sensitive recording layer. A method for producing a heat-sensitive recording material of this kind, and possibilities for its use.
