A magnetic resonance coil having at least one tuning device for tuning the magnetic resonance coil, a magnetic resonance device, and a method for tuning a magnetic resonance coil are provided. The at least one tuning device includes a plurality of capacitors that are mechanically interlinked.

Tunable magnetic resonance coil

The disclosure relates to a compensation capacitor for an antenna of a magnetic resonance scanner and a corresponding antenna with a compensation capacitor. The compensation capacitor has a first electrode and a second electrode arranged in parallel. An insulation material configured to resist high voltages and a dielectric with low dielectric losses are arranged between the first and the second electrode. The second electrode and/or the dielectric may be moved relative to the first electrode such that a surface area of a projection of the surface of the first electrode along the surface normal of the first electrode to the surface of the second electrode and/or the dielectric is variable.

According to the embodiments, in a method for operating a magnetic resonance imaging system having a magnetic resonance scanner comprising an antenna system, a natural frequency of a natural mechanical oscillation mode of the antenna system is controlled and/or regulated.

Magnetic resonance scanner and antenna

A magnetic resonance scanner includes an antenna system, such as a body coil, mechanically coupled to a support structure, such as a gradient coil, via a suspension system. The suspension system has a setting mechanism in order to reversibly set a coupling parameter value of the mechanical coupling between the antenna system and the support structure and/or a position or location of the antenna system relative to the support structure. The coupling parameter may be set during operation of a magnetic resonance imaging system including the magnetic resonance scanner.

The at least one suspension element is mechanically connectable to a counterpart piece of the body coil. The mounting device also includes an adjustment device that has an adjuster for changing a position of the body coil, and adjustment indicators for displaying the position of the body coil. The attachment device includes at least one attachment element for mechanical interaction with the body coil.

Mounting for a body coil of a magnetic resonance device

Mounting for a body coil of a magnetic resonance device is provided. A reversible and universal mounting device for a body coil in the magnetic resonance device is provided. The mounting device includes at least one expanding ring for creating a way of retaining the body coil in a tunnel-shaped magnetic opening of the magnetic resonance device. The mounting device also includes at least one expander that is configured to enable the expanding ring to be mounted on the inside of the tunnel-shaped magnetic opening of the magnetic resonance device by spreading. The mounting device includes at least one mounting element for mechanically supporting the body coil on the expanding ring.
