A method for transmission path noise control using an audio headset and a sending device comprises generating microphone signals by a first and a second microphone of the headset based on detected sound including desired audio information and noise. An encoded signal is generated on a first line of a data cable by means of the headset by encoding input signals depending on the microphone signals. The method comprises transmitting the encoded signal from the headset to the sending device via the first, reconstructing the input signals by decoding the encoded signal by the sending device, generating by the sending device a clean signal by applying a first noise control algorithm to the reconstructed first and second input signal and sending a signal depending on the clean signal to a communication network.

Method and system for transmission path noise control

We disclose a control circuit for active noise control, ANC, coupled to a speaker generating a speaker signal based on an amplified audio signal and to an ANC microphone generating a disturbed audio signal based on ambient noise and the speaker signal. The control circuit has a first mixer generating an intermediate audio signal by superposing an audio signal and a first compensation signal, a first amplifier generating the amplified audio signal based on the intermediate audio signal and a compensation unit generating a second compensation signal based on the audio signal. A tuning unit generates a compensated audio signal based on the disturbed audio signal and the second compensation signal. An ANC filter coupled to the tuning unit generates the first compensation signal by applying filter operations to the compensated audio signal.

Control circuit for active noise control and method for active noise control

A housing () is provided which in particular is suitable for a mobile phone and, in addition to the customary loudspeaker housing () for accommodating a loudspeaker (), comprises an additional housing () enclosing an additional volume of air () and being arranged in a preferential direction (V) for sound emission of the loudspeaker housing (). Further, a loudspeaker module comprising the housing () as well as a loudspeaker (), a microphone () and a control unit for active noise suppression is provided.

Housing and loudspeaker module

The invention relates to a closed loop control system for active noise reduction, comprising a speaker and an adding device connected to the speaker. A feedforward control and a feedback control each comprise a microphone for recording noise interference or for recording a sound output by the speaker. Control networks for forming a corresponding control parameter are coupled to the corresponding microphones and are connected to the adding device at the output side thereof. According to the invention, the feedback control for noise reduction is adapted on the basis of a first acoustic ratio and the feedforward control for noise reduction is adapted on the basis of a second acoustic ratio. The control network of the feedback control is designed to at least partially compensate for the control parameter of the feedforward control when current acoustic ratios change in the direction of the first acoustic ratio.

Closed loop control system for active noise reduction and method for active noise reduction

A loudspeaker for active noise cancellation is disclosed in which a measurement microphone () is arranged at the acoustic center. In addition, a system for active noise cancellation is described.
