An insulating element for a fuel injection apparatus is notable in particular for the fact that a low-noise design is achieved. The fuel injection apparatus encompasses at least one fuel injection valve and one receiving bore in a cylinder head for the fuel injection valve, and the insulating element between a valve housing of the fuel injection valve and a wall of the receiving bore. The insulating element possesses an inner insulating ring that is present in encapsulated fashion between an outer ring and an inner ring. The outer ring is directed toward the fuel injection valve and the inner ring is directed toward the wall of the receiving bore, so that corresponding abutment of these components occurs with the insulating element in the installed state. The fuel injection apparatus is suitable in particular for direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing spark-ignited internal combustion engine.

Multipart insulating element, in particular for a fuel injection device

A decoupling element for a fuel-injection device has a low-noise and pivotable construction. The fuel-injection device includes at least a fuel injector and a receiving bore in a cylinder head for the fuel injector as well as the decoupling element between a valve housing of the fuel injector and a wall of the receiving bore. The decoupling element is in the form of a ring, in particular a closed ring, which has a lower end face that sits on a shoulder of the receiving bore, and which has an upper end face that rises conically from radially outside toward radially inside and is in intimate contact with a spherically curved shoulder area of the valve housing of the fuel injector. The fuel-injection device is particularly suitable for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing combustion engine having externally supplied ignition.

Decoupling element for a fuel-injection device

A method for manufacturing an injector having an extrusion coating, including the following steps: providing an injection module, pushing a disk-shaped alignment element onto a part of the injection module, the alignment element having a slot in order to have sufficient flexibility, welding the alignment element onto the part of the injection module, at least part of the slot also being welded shut at the same time during the welding-on step in order to stiffen the alignment element, and molding the extrusion coating onto the injection module.

A decoupling element, for decoupling a fuel injection valve from a cylinder head, includes a body that, in the mounted state, surrounds a housing of the fuel injection valve. The body is fashioned to include a cylinder-side support region to be supported on the cylinder head, and a valve-side support region for supporting the fuel injection valve. When the fuel injection valve is supported at the valve-side support region, the body is loaded with pressure. Only the cylinder-side support region of the body is fashioned in the shape of a closed ring, which connects segments of the body distributed around a circumference. The decoupling element enables the reduction of the transmission of noise from the fuel injection valve to the cylinder head.

A decoupling element is described for a fuel injection device which is characterized in particular by a low-noise design. The fuel injection device includes at least one fuel injector, a receiving bore in a cylinder head for the fuel injector, and the decoupling element between a valve housing of the fuel injector and a wall of the receiving bore. The decoupling element is designed as a decoupling system having a spring ring and a conical washer. The fuel injection device is suitable for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing spark-ignition internal combustion engine in particular.

An injection valve is provided for injecting a medium, especially for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber, including: a housing having at least one spray orifice on a discharge side, a solenoid coil, a magneto armature, which is linearly movable by the solenoid coil, a linearly movable valve needle for opening and closing the spray orifice, a first stop on a side of the magneto armature facing away from the discharge side, and a second stop on a side of the magneto armature facing the discharge side, the magneto armature being linearly movable between the first stop and the second stop with respect to the valve needle, and a guide element which is joined to the valve needle, an outer area of the guide element serving as guide for the linear motion of the magneto armature, and the second stop being an integral part of the guide element.

A fuel injector for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine includes: a housing having at least one spray orifice; a magnet armature movable linearly in the housing; a magnetic coil acting magnetically on the magnet armature; and a valve element movable linearly with respect to the housing and with respect to the magnet armature, the valve element, together with the at least one spray orifice, forming a valve seat, a first stop on the valve element, and a tension spring pulling the magnet armature against the first stop.

A decoupling element for a fuel injection device has a low-noise construction. The fuel injection device includes at least one fuel injector and one receiving bore in a cylinder head for the fuel injector and the decoupling element between a valve housing of the fuel injector and a wall of the receiving bore. The decoupling element has a nonlinear progressive spring characteristic as a solid-state joint, at least one bearing collar including a valve contact surface, which is designed to be spherical, i.e., convex, extending upward from a flat annular area, the flat annular area being supported on a supporting base, and the inside of the annular area has a smaller inside diameter D than the bearing collar and the supporting base, which is supported on the wall of the receiving bore.

A device is described for metering fuel in internal combustion engines is provided, which includes a fuel distributor provided with a flow channel and at least one discharge orifice connected thereto, a valve which is connected to the fuel distributor for metering the fuel and has a pipe connection that is able to be attached to the discharge orifice, and connection means, which connects the fuel distributor and the valve to each other in the attachment region of the pipe connection and the discharge orifice in a pressure-tight manner.

The fuel injector for fuel-injection systems of combustion engines has an excitable actuator for actuating a valve-closure member, which forms a sealing seat together with a valve-seat surface. At least one spray-discharge orifice is formed downstream from the valve-seat surface from which fuel is output in the direction of a combustion chamber. In addition, the fuel injector has a nozzle body, which surrounds the valve-seat surface or accommodates a valve-seat body having the valve-seat surface. The nozzle body is introduced into a downstream thin-walled extension of a connection piece, which also serves as an inner pole of a magnetic circuit, and is fixedly connected to this extension.

The present invention relates to a fuel injection system for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. At least one fuel injection valve is arranged on a cylinder head in a receiving bore in order to inject fuel into the combustion chamber. A fuel distribution line is provided for feeding the fuel to the fuel injection valve. A compensation element for a position compensation and/or tolerance compensation, is arranged in the radial direction between the fuel injection valve and the cylinder head and is arranged in the axial direction of the fuel injection valve between a first sealing element, sealing between the fuel injection valve and the cylinder head on a side facing the combustion chamber of the fuel injection valve, and a second sealing element, sealing between the fuel injection valve and the fuel distribution line. Further provided is a support ring, which is arranged between the fuel injection valve and the cylinder head and which provides support for the fuel injection valve in the axial direction on a step of the receiving bore and which has a clearance in the radial direction.

A fuel injector, especially for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, includes a nozzle body able to be inserted into a recess of a cylinder head, a valve housing, a plug abutting the valve housing, and at least one fixation element, which fixes the nozzle body in its position in the recess, the fixation element extending from a connection region () between the valve housing and the plug on the spray-discharge side. The at least one fixation element has a reinforcement having a spherical contour at an outer periphery, the reinforcement being formed by at least one outwardly projecting element having an outwardly curving end face and/or having a planar end face.
