Elastomeric articles, such as gloves, are made by welding together two plies of a multi-layer film. The film plies are welded together through ultrasonic bonding, thermal bonding, or mixtures thereof. The multi-layer film includes at least three layers that, in one embodiment, are coextruded. Each layer of the multi-layer film is made from a different composition that produces layers having different properties.

An article for transcutaneously applying electrical stimulation to sensory receptors. The article is a support to which an electrode pair, a positive and corresponding negative electrode, is attached. Leads are electrically attached to each of the positive and negative electrodes, wherein each lead has an insulated coating. A controller is electrically attached to the leads for delivering monophasic or biphasic electrical stimulation at a single frequency. A power supply is electrically connected to the controller, and may be attached to the support. The article may be a sock, a glove, a harness or an insole.

Elastomeric articles, such as gloves, are described that are made by welding two polymer films together. Polymer films are selected that have excellent elastic properties in combination with tensile strength properties. For instance, the polymer films can be made from a thermoplastic elastomer that has a tensile strength of greater than 40 MPa and has a modulus of from about 2 MPA to about 20 MPa.

Elastomeric articles, such as gloves are disclosed. The gloves include a primary matrix made from one or more elastomeric materials and a foam donning layer. In one embodiment, for instance, the donning layer can be formed from a polyurethane foam. The polyurethane foam can be created from the reaction product of a polyurethane prepolymer and a solution containing water. The resulting foam can be hydrophilic and can absorb moisture for preventing moisture from being trapped between the primary matrix and a user's skin.

A combination dispenser is provided. The combination dispenser includes a frame and a covering product dispenser carried by the frame. The covering product dispenser is configured for dispensing a covering product for use in covering a portion of a body. A wiping product dispenser is carried by the frame and is configured for dispensing a wiping product for use in wiping a body. An application product dispenser is carried by the frame and is configured for dispensing an application product for use in application to a body.

A protective glove is provided made substantially from a laminate material. The laminate material includes a plurality of elastic strands. A first nonwoven web is attached to the plurality of elastic strands so that in a relaxed state of the elastic strands and the first nonwoven web at least one wrinkle is formed in the first nonwoven web. A second nonwoven web is also provided and is attached to the plurality of elastic strands so that in a relaxed state of the elastic strands and the second nonwoven web at least one wrinkle is formed in the second nonwoven web. The elastic strands, first nonwoven web and second nonwoven web form a laminate that is stretchable and permeable to liquid. A method of manufacture of a protective glove is also provided.

An elastomeric article includes a substrate body formed from an elastomeric material. The substrate body has a first surface, and a donning layer overlying at least a portion of the first surface. The donning layer is formed from a modified vinyl acetate polymer.
