A claw clutch for positively connecting a first rotatable component to a second rotatable component. A claw clutch for motor vehicles having an electric drive train which permits a reliable connection of the claw clutch when tooth-on-tooth positions are released and, at the same time, reduces the number of moving elements on the sliding sleeve. A clutch body, which is arranged on the first rotatable component for conjoint rotation therewith, has a first tooth system and a sliding sleeve, which is arranged on the second rotatable component in a manner which allows conjoint rotation and axial movement, has a second tooth system and is axially movable via a shift fork by an actuator system in order to load a spring element by the actuator system in the case of a tooth-on-tooth position. The spring element to be loaded is arranged outside the second rotatable component equipped with the sliding sleeve.

A dog clutch arrangement for a motor vehicle having a clutch body. The clutch body has first teeth in a first toothing and an axially movable sliding sleeve arrangement with second teeth in a second toothing. The sliding sleeve arrangement has a shift ring and a sleeve with the second toothing. The shift ring and the sleeve at least partially overlap in axial direction and are arranged to be axially displaceable relative to one another. The shift ring and the sleeve enclose an intermediate space, a pneumatic damping which damps the movement of the sleeve and the shift ring relative to one another being formed with the intermediate space.

An electromagnetic control mechanism for a switching element is described herein, which can be switched to an open operating state and to a closed operating state by means of an electromagnet and an actuating unit that acts counter to the actuation force of the electromagnet. The electromagnet has a dedicated mechanism for dampening the actuation movement of an anchor of the electromagnet toward a section of the coil, by means of which the actuation speed of the anchor can be reduced after a distance between a section of the anchor facing the coil and the section of the coil becomes shorter than a predefined distance. The mechanism for dampening comprises at least one component connected to the coil, which becomes functionally connected to the anchor after the distance becomes shorter than the defined distance, wherein, as the displacement of the anchor increases, liquid can be discharged from a chamber bordered by the component and the anchor via a throttle mechanism to an extent that reduces the actuation speed of the anchor.

Shiftable shaft connection device, method for shifting a shaft connection device and vehicle transmission

An axially actuatable positive engagement clutch which includes an input shaft with an input toothing and an output shaft with an output toothing. An axially displaceable connection element can occupy a meshing position which is located in an actuation path (s) between the open position and the closed position and in which the driving toothing engages with the input toothing or the output toothing for the first time during the transition from the open position into the closed position. An actuation device is configured to displace the connection element from the closed position to the open position, and an elastic return element which applies a restoring force to the connection element in direction of the closed position. The return element has a force/deflection characteristic with a local force maximum (F1) which coincides in the actuation path (s) at least approximately with the meshing position of the connection element.
