A photo-alignable object has a thickness of more than 2 &#x3bc;m. The photo-alignable object can be in the form of a free standing film. Also, the photo-alignable object can have a topographical surface structure. The depth of the topographical surface structure can be larger than 100 nm, and preferably the depth of the topographical surface structure is larger than 1 &#x3bc;m.

The present invention relates to functionalized acrylate polymers, a process for their preparation, photopolymerizable compositions comprising these polymers and the use of the compositions, especially in the production of electronic components. Polymerisable composition

The present invention relates to a resin composition comprising an at least bifunctional prepolymer (A) curable under the action of heat, a telechelic elastomer and a particulate material having an elastomeric core and a thermoplastic shell. Such resist formulations are used in particular in the field of printed circuit boards and printing plates, are applicable from aqueous medium, are almost tack-free and have very good edge coverage, especially on conductors.

Reaction products of a microgel that contains carboxylic acid groups with a nitrogen-containing base have a high latency and high stability towards mechanical influences and are suitable as hardeners for one-component epoxy resin systems.

Core/shell particles comprising a core comprising an elastomer having a T,value of <0&deg; C., onto which a shell of a crosslinked copolymer is grafted, where the proportion of the crosslinking component in the copolymer of the shell is from 5 to 90% by weight, based on the total amount of the comonomers of the shell copolymer, are suitable as toughening agents for epoxy resins, with which they have good compatibility.
