A seat module for a motor vehicle that includes a carrier element having at least one seat row upon which at least two seats are secured. Each seat row has walls defining an opening which is accessible from outside of the motor vehicle and which extends laterally as a hollow space into the carrier element. The walls are fixed at least partially peripherally to facilitate raising of the seat module via introduction of a lifting element from outside of the motor vehicle into the hollow space for installation of the seat module into the motor vehicle or removal of the seat module from the motor vehicle.

A tool configured to join at least two material layers, of which at least one material layer is in the form of a metal material layer, by a pin. The tool includes a driving-in device which drives the pin through the at least two material layers to be joined, and a welding device which, after the driving-in of the pin, welds at least one first section of the pin to the at least one metal material layer.

A passenger transport vehicle that includes at least one door, an optical detection module to dynamically detect a current fill value representing a number of occupants in the passenger transport vehicle, and a control module operatively connected to the at least one door and the optical detection module. A coupling between a replaceable battery and a vehicle in order to produce an electrical contact between the battery and a vehicle electrical system. The coupling includes at least one vehicle-side coupling part and at least one battery-side coupling part, each coupling part having at least one electrical contact site. The contact sites of the coupling parts that are separate from each other until the battery is mechanically fastened to the vehicle can be brought into mutual contact after the battery has been mechanically fastened to the vehicle.

The motor vehicle a roof frame defining a roof opening and a roof mechanism configured to permit a selective closing and at least partial opening of the roof opening. The roof mechanism includes a folding roof system having a hood cover with a plurality of spaced apart first transparent elements in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle and a second plurality of transparent elements between the first transparent elements and configured such that, in the at least partial opening of the roof opening, the hood cover forms folds in which the first transparent elements are positioned in an upper, upward-facing side of a fold and the second transparent elements are positioned in a lower, downward-facing side of a fold and are concealed by the first transparent elements.

A motor vehicle with a seat bench which includes a seat surface which is approximately horizontal in a normal position and a backrest which is approximately vertical in the normal position, wherein the seat surface and the backrest are adjustable into a partition position in which the seat surface and the backrest adopt an at least approximately vertical position and the backrest is arranged above the seat surface. The backrest upper edge is in contact with the roof of the motor vehicle in the partition position, such that the backrest together with the seat surface forms a partition which separates the region behind the partition in the direction of travel from the region in front of the partition in the direction of travel.

A fixing device for releasable fixing an electrical energy accumulator to a carrying structure of a motor vehicle includes a retaining protrusion and a locking catch which are provided on the energy accumulator and on the carrying structure (or vice versa). To fix the energy accumulator to the carrying structure, a relative movement of the retaining protrusion to the locking catch is provided along a movement track in the direction of an end position, in which the locking catch can be swiveled between a release position and a locked position such that in the release position the locking catch is outside the movement track of the retaining protrusion and in the locked position the locking catch protrudes into the movement track of the retaining protrusion and there engages behind the retaining protrusion when the retaining protrusion is in the end position.

Motor vehicle with a seat bench which comprises a seat surface which is approximately horizontal in a normal position and a backrest which is approximately vertical in the normal position, wherein the backrest comprises at least one transparent region which is designed in such a manner that the view from a region in front of the backrest in the direction of travel into a region behind the backrest in the direction of travel is made possible.

A fixing device for releasable fixing an electrical energy accumulator to a carrying structure of a motor vehicle includes at least one insertion bolt and a receiver unit for the insertion bolt which are provided on the carrying structure and on the energy accumulator (or vice versa). The insertion bolt includes a retaining protrusion and the receiver unit includes a cage and a locking element mounted in the cage. The cage includes an insertion opening into which the insertion bolt can be introduced along an insertion direction, and the locking element can be moved between a release position and a locked position. In the release position, the locking element opens the insertion opening for introduction of the insertion bolt and in the locked position engages behind the retaining protrusion of the insertion bolt when the insertion bolt is introduced in the insertion opening of the cage.
