A disc brake for a utility vehicle includes brake caliper which straddles a brake disc, two brake pads each arranged in a pad channel of a vehicle-side brake carrier. The brake pads are retained in the disk brake under prestress by a pad retaining spring and a pad retaining clip on the brake caliper which spans a opening of the brake caliper. The disc brake further includes a restoring device configured to bias the brake pads away from one another after having been displaced during brake actuation. The restoring device includes sprung spreader elements that engage the opposite brake pads. The sprung spreader elements preferably include V-shaped spreader elements which are supported in the connection region of their respective spring arms on the pad retaining clip, and retained via their ends on the opposing brake pads.

Disc brake for a utility vehicle

A disc brake for a utility vehicle includes a brake caliper, designed as a sliding caliper and engaging over a brake disc, which is secured to a stationary brake carrier. Two brake pads, which are arranged in the brake caliper, can move inversely and have a respective pad carrier plate and a friction lining secured thereon, of which an action-side or application-side brake pad can be pressed against the brake disc by an application device via at least one brake piston. The brake pads are each accommodated in a pad housing of the stationary brake carrier, wherein the pad housing is formed by two opposing brake carrier horns and a longitudinal connector connecting the brake carrier horns. At least one of the brake pads is assigned a pad return device, with which the at least one brake pad can be returned after a brake-dependent shifting and releasing of the brake.

A resetting device by which a brake caliper can be reset after a braking-induced displacement and release of a brake. The resetting device has a spreading device which has resilient spreading elements. The spreading device is arranged in a central opening of the brake caliper. The spreading elements engage, outside the friction pads, directly or indirectly on one side at at least two abutment regions arranged spaced apart from one another relative to the center, of the brake pads, where the abutment regions have one abutment surface and one bearing surface on which the spreading elements are movably arranged. The spreading device has spring arms, of which in each case two lie against an associated pad carrier plate, where the spring arms are connected to one another in the central region of the opening. The spring arms are connected to a retaining bow which is attached to a brake carrier.

A disc brake for a utility vehicle has a brake caliper which fits around a brake disc, is in the form of a sliding caliper, is fastened to a stationary brake carrier and has a central opening over the brake disc. The disc brake has two brake pads which are arranged in the brake caliper, can be moved in opposite directions and each have a pad carrier plate and a friction lining fastened thereto, and of which an action-side brake pad can be pressed against the brake disc by a tensioning device via at least one brake piston. The disc brake also has at least one spreading device with which the brake caliper can be returned after a displacement caused by braking and after a release of the brake. The spreading device has resilient spring units which act on the mutually opposing brake pads. The spreading device is arranged in the central opening, and the spring units act directly or indirectly outside the friction linings in at least two attachment interfaces, spaced from each other and from the center, of the brake pads. The spring units are connected to a stationary attachment element in at least one connection interface by at least one connection element.

A disc brake includes a brake caliper that engages over a brake disc, the caliper having a central opening over the brake disc. The disc brake has two brake pads which are located in the brake caliper, can be moved in opposite directions and each of which has a pad backing plate with a friction lining secured thereon. An action-side or application-side brake pad of the two brake pads can be pressed against the brake disc by a brake application device with the aid of at least one brake plunger. The brake also has at least one restoring device, by which the brake caliper can be returned. The restoring device has a spreading device which engages on the brake pads lying opposite one another and which acts with an identical force in opposition to the respective application direction. The spreading device has spring-loaded spreading elements, each engaging on its respective pad backing plate. The spreading device is located in the central opening and the spreading elements engage directly or indirectly, outside the friction linings, on at least two contact regions of the brake pads. These regions face each other at a distance from the center. The spreading device has spring-loaded arms which are interconnected in the central region of the opening and connected to a retaining bracket which is attached to the brake support plate.

A disc brake has a brake caliper, which reaches over a brake disc, is designed as a sliding caliper, is fastened to a stationary brake bracket and has a central opening over the brake disc. Two brake pads, which are arranged in the brake caliper and can be moved in opposite directions each have a backing plate and a friction lining fastened thereto. An action-side brake pad can be pressed against the brake disc by an application device by way of at least one brake piston. At least one restoring device is provided, by which the brake caliper can be returned after displacement and release of the brake caused by braking, wherein the restoring device has a spreading device, which acts on the brake pads lying opposite each other and acts in the same way against each particular application direction and has resilient spreading elements that act on the respective backing plates. The spreading device is arranged in the central opening, wherein the spreading elements act directly or indirectly outside of the friction linings on one side in the center region or at least two contact regions of the brake pads arranged at a distance from each other with respect to the center, wherein the contact regions each have a contact surface and a bearing surface, on which the spreading elements are movably arranged.
