An optoelectronic component on a substrate includes a first and a second electrode. The first electrode is arranged on the substrate and the second electrode forms a counter electrode. At least one photoactive layer system is arranged between these electrodes. The at least one photoactive layer system including at least one donor-acceptor system having organic materials.

Transparent electrode for optoelectronic components

An optoelectronic component includes a photoactive layer which is arranged between an electrode and a counter electrode. In addition to a donor-acceptor system, the photoactive layer includes a third material which influences the crystallization of the donor-acceptor system. The third material selected from a group consisting of crown ethers, triphenyls, sorbitols, quinacridones and bis(4-(tert-butyl)benzoato-O) hydroxyaluminium. Crown ethers are especially preferred.

Optoelectronic component

A photoactive component has an electrode and an opposing electrode. The electrodes have at least one organic layer system arranged between them, also having at least two photoactive layer systems and, between the photoactive layer systems, at least two different transport layer systems have the same charge carrier type. In this case, one transport layer system matches one of the two photoactive layer systems in energy terms, while the other transport layer system is of transparent design.

Photoactive component having a plurality of transport layer systems

A photoactive component includes organic layers, including a single, tandem or multiple cell with two electrodes and, between the electrodes, a photoactive acceptor-donor layer system that includes at least three absorber materials. At least two absorber materials are donors or acceptors. One of the two absorber materials is configured as donors or acceptors absorbing at greater wavelengths than the other absorber material and one of the two absorber materials have a lower Stokes shift and/or a lower absorption width than the other absorber material.

Photoactive component comprising organic layers

The invention relates to a layer assembly for a light-emitting component, in particular a phosphorescent organic light-emitting diode, having a hole-injecting contact and an electron-injecting contact which are each connected to a light-emitting region, wherein, in the light-emitting region, one light-emitting layer is made up of a material (M) and another light-emitting layer is made up of another material (M), where the material (M) is ambipolar and preferentially transports holes and the other material (M) is ambipolar and preferentially transports electrons; a heterotransition is formed by the material (M) and the other material (M) in the light-emitting region; an interface between the material (M) and the other material (M) is of the staggered type II; the material (M) and the other material (M) each contain an appropriate addition of one or more triplet emitter dopants; and an energy barrier for transfer of holes from the material (M) into the other material (M) and an energy barrier for transfer of electrons from the other material (M) into the material (M) are each less than about 0.4 eV.

Layer assembly for a light-emitting component

The invention relates to an electroluminescent light-emitting device comprising an arrangement of organic layers which are applied to a substrate, and also to a method for its production. The arrangement of organic layers comprises the following layers: at least one charge carrier transport layer consisting of organic material, and at least one light-emitting layer consisting of organic material. The arrangement of organic layers furthermore comprises at least one doped fullerene layer which has a doping that increases the electrical conductivity.

Electroluminescent light-emitting device comprising an arrangement of organic layers, and method for its production

The invention relates to an organic photoactive device, especially an organic photovoltaic cell, with a contact and a countercontact as well as with an organic region that is electrically connected to the contact and the countercontact, wherein a photoactive region with a photoactive bulk heterojunction or a flat heterojunction between an electron-conducting organic material and a hole-conducting organic material is formed in the organic region and wherein the hole-conducting organic material and/or the electron-conducting organic material is formed from oligomers according to any one of the following types: conjugated acceptor-donor-acceptor oligomer (A-D-A' oligomer) with an acceptor unit (A) and a further acceptor unit (A&#x2032;) that are each connected to a donor unit (D), and conjugated donor-acceptor-donor oligomer (D-A-D&#x2032; oligomer) with a donor unit (D) and a further donor unit (D&#x2032;) that are each connected to an acceptor unit (A).

Organic photoactive device

The invention relates to an organic optoelectronic component comprising a base electrode, a top electrode that is provided with passages and an arrangement of organic layers, which is formed between the base electrode and the top electrode and makes electrical contact with said electrodes. In said component, light can be generated in a light-emitting region by the application of electrical energy to the base electrode and the top electrode. An organic current distribution layer also extends into the region containing the passages, said layer making electrical contact with the top electrode and the light-emitting region.

Organic optoelectronic component

The invention relates to a light-emitting component, in particular organic light-emitting diode, having an electrode and a counterelectrode and an organic region&#x2014;arranged between the electrode and the counterelectrode&#x2014;with a light-emitting organic region, which comprises an emission layer and a further emission layer and which, upon application of an electrical voltage to the electrode and the counterelectrode, is formed in a manner emitting light in a plurality of colour ranges in the visible spectral range, optionally through to white light, in which case the emission layer comprises a fluorescent emitter which emits light predominantly in the blue or in the blue-green spectral range; the further emission layer comprises one or a plurality of phosphorescent emitters emitting light predominantly in the non-blue spectral range; a triplet energy for an energy level of a triplet state of the fluorescent emitter in the emission layer is greater than a triplet energy for an energy level of a triplet state of the phosphorescent emitter in the further emission layer; and an at least 5% proportion of the light generated in the light-emitting organic region is formed in the visible spectral range as fluorescent light from singlet states of the fluorescent emitter in the emission layer.

Light-emitting component

The present invention relates to a doped organic semiconductor material comprising an organic matrix material which is doped with at least one heteromonocyclic and/or heteropolycyclic compound, the compound having at least one nitrogen atom with a free electron pair.

Doped organic semiconductor material

The invention relates to an arrangement for an organic pin-type light-emitting diode with an electrode and a counter-electrode and a stack with organic layers between the electrode and the counter-electrode, where the stack with the organic layers comprises an emission layer comprising a k (k=1, 2, 3, . . . ) organic matrix materials, a doped charge carrier transport layer, which is arranged between the electrode and the emission layer, a further doped charge carrier transport layer, which is arranged between the counter-electrode and the emission layer, and one block layer, which is arranged between one of the doped charge carrier transport layers and the emission layer. The organic layers of the stack are formed by means of n (n&#x2266;k+2) organic matrix materials, where the n organic matrix materials comprise the k organic matrix materials of the emission layer. The stack with the organic layers can also be executed in a block-layer-free manner, where then the emission layer and the doped charge carrier transport layer are formed from an organic matrix material. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing such arrangements is stated.

Arrangement for an organic pin-type light-emitting diode and method for manufacturing

The invention relates to a doped organic semiconductor material with increased charge carrier density and more effective charge carrier mobility, which may be obtained by doping an organic semiconductor material with a chemical compound comprising one or several organic molecular groups (A) and at least one further compound partner (B). The desired doping effect is achieved after cleavage of at least one organic molecular group (A) from the chemical compound by means of at least one organic molecular group (A) or by means of the product of a reaction of at least one molecular group (A) with another atom or molecule.

Doped semiconductor material and process for production thereof

The invention relates to a photoactive component, especially a solar cell, comprising organic layers and formed by at least one stacked pi, ni, and/or pin diode. The diodes are characterized in that they comprise at least one p-doped or n-doped transport layer having a larger optical band gap than that of the photoactive layer. The individual diodes are characterized by a high internal quantum yield, but can be optically thin (peak absorption &#x3c;80%). A high external quantum yield is obtained by either enlarging the optical path of the incident light in the diodes using light traps, or by stacking a plurality of the diodes. The transition between two diodes being facilitated by transition layers for the purposes of improved recombination and generation. Both forms of embodiment have a number of specific advantages using the doped transport layers with a large band gap.

Photoactive component with organic layers

The present invention relates to use of an organic matrix material for producing an organic semiconductor material, characterized in that the organic matrix material is comprised at least partly of a spirobifluorene compound, and the glass transition temperature of the organic matrix material is at least 120&#xb0; C. and the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of the matrix material is at a maximum energy level of 5.4 eV; and also to an organic semiconductor material and electronic component.

The invention relates to a light emitting component with organic layers and emission of triplet exciton states (phosphorescent light) with increased efficiency, having a layer sequence with a hole injecting contact (anode), one or more hole injecting and transporting layers, a system of layers in the light emission zone, one or more electron transport and injection layers and an electron injecting contact (cathode), characterized in that the light emitting zone comprises a series of heterojunctions with the materials A and B (ABAB . . . ) that form interfaces of the type 'staggered type II', one material (A), having hole transporting or bipolar transport properties and the other material (B) having electron transporting or bi-polar transport properties, and at least one of the two materials A or B being mixed with a triplet emitter dopant that is able to efficiently convert its triplet exciton energy into light.
