A flow control device for medical liquid including a housing having an inlet and an outlet, and a channel formed in an inner surface of the housing, the channel extending at least partly in axial direction; a rotatable member rotatable in relation to the housing without being axially displaced, the rotatable member having at least two apertures; and a core member arranged inside the rotatable member, fixedly connected to the rotatable member. A helical flow path is formed between the lateral surface of the core member and the inner surface of the rotatable member, the at least two apertures of the rotatable member being in communication with said helical flow path, and wherein each of the apertures debouches into the channel in at least one rotational position of the rotatable member.

A self-contained portable apparatus for administration of a drug solution includes a housing having an enclosure for receiving a flexible pouch containing a drug solution, the output of which is connectable to a conduit for delivering the drug solution to a recipient. A pressurization system is arranged for providing a constant and controllable gas pressure to the housing in order to obtain a controllable delivery of the drug solution. The pressurization system includes a pressure source for delivering positive pressure gas; a pressure accumulation tank connected to the source and the second chamber; a one-way valve arranged between the pressure source and the pressure accumulation tank; and a mechanical pressure regulator arranged between the pressure accumulation tank and the housing. Hereby, an extremely stable and well controllable output pressure and output flow is obtainable.

Self-contained portable apparatus for administration of a drug solution

An apparatus for collecting and salvaging blood includes: a first chamber with a below atmosphere internal pressure for continuous collection of blood through an inlet port; a second chamber for receiving blood from the first chamber through a connection channel; a channel valve manually controllable to close the connection channel; and a control for simultaneously controlling the channel valve and the internal pressure of the second chamber between an internal pressure corresponding to the internal pressure of the first chamber and ambient air pressure, wherein the control is arranged to provide an internal pressure corresponding to the internal pressure of the first chamber to the second chamber through a passageway separated from the connection channel for providing blood from the first chamber to the second chamber.
