A waste collection apparatus having an absorbent pad having opposing outermost layers, comprising a permeable layer and an opposing substantially leak proof layer; the absorbent pad comprising at least one innermost layer of waste absorbing material sandwiched and completely enclosed between the opposing outermost layers and completely filling a volume therebetween extending to the outer peripheral border, which has an interior passageway, a draw tape therein, and a plurality of outside cut off corners having adjacent interior passageway openings; the draw tape having a length greater than that of the outer peripheral border; the draw tape routed through the adjacent interior passageway openings exposing the draw tape at the outside cut off corners; the waste collection apparatus forming a bag, when the draw tape is pulled taut.

Waste pad

A pet waste collection apparatus having an absorbent pad having a first height and an outer peripheral border having a second height less than the first height, each having opposing outermost layers, comprising a permeable layer and an opposing substantially leak proof layer; the absorbent pad comprising at least one innermost layer of waste absorbing material sandwiched and completely enclosed between the opposing outermost layers and completely filling a volume therebetween extending to the outer peripheral border, which has an interior passageway, a draw tape therein, and at least one outside substantially straight cut off corner having adjacent interior passageway openings; the draw tape having a length greater than that of the outer peripheral border; the draw tape routed through the adjacent interior passageway openings exposing the draw tape at the outside straight cut off corner; the waste collection apparatus forming a bag, when the draw tape is pulled taut.

A modular structure foundation system that requires no heavy equipment, minimal site preparation, bag concrete and crushed rock, and can be easily assembled by a small crew. The foundation consists of a number of box bar joists that are square units which are assembled based on a grid layout. The box bar joists are supported by foundation steel columns that are embedded into the ground. No forms or other complex structures are needed for the installation. Once the columns are installed, the box bar joists are installed using a unique leveling system. Once the box bar joists are level and secured to the columns, the foundation is complete. The use of the box bar joists also allows for expansion or contraction as additional box bar joists can easily be added or removed from the foundation. Once the box bar joists are in place, the foundation is ready for building.

Foundation system for modular system smart buildings

A pet waste collection apparatus having a drawstring within an outer peripheral border of the pet waste collection apparatus, the drawstring having a drawstring exit portion exiting the pet waste collection apparatus, the drawstring exit portion of the drawstring releasably fastened to a bottom corner portion of the pet waste collection apparatus, the pet waste collection apparatus adapted to form a shape of a bag when the drawstring exit portion of the drawstring is released from the bottom corner portion of the pet waste collection apparatus and the drawstring is pulled taut, the pet waste collection apparatus substantially enclosing and sealing pet waste within the pet waste collection apparatus when the drawstring is pulled taut. Alternative embodiments include a bifurcated exit sleeve, an alternate exit sleeve, and a tab, each adapted to adhesively and releasably fasten the drawstring exit portion to the bottom corner, and a leak protection barrier.

A building utilizing Panel construction that has a floor assembly, wall assemblies and a roof assembly. The assemblies are manufactured off site and delivered ready to install. After a foundation is prepared, the Floor Joist Assembly (FJA) system is installed. The walls have three main components&#x2014;a Stationary Structural Wall (SSW) that is delivered assembled; a Removable Facade Wall (RFW) that is delivered assembled; and a Crawlspace Insulation Assembly (CIA) that is partially assembled on site. The Roof Assembly Material (RAM) has trusses, an exterior weatherproof cover; and a finished ceiling assembly. The system is designed to provide an easy assembly of a complete structure that meets all hurricane and other building code measures in an economical package. The Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical systems are installed with/as the floor and walls are installed. The lines are then connected after the structure is in place.

A process for the extraction of an unwanted material from a gas or liquid comprising the steps of introducing an extraction liquid into the fluid having an unwanted liquid therein to form a physical microdispersion comprising a plurality of extraction liquid droplets and the fluid, allowing the plurality of extraction liquid droplets to interact with the unwanted component in the fluid, to cause the extraction liquid droplets to be 'wetted out' and captured on a porous medium, where the liquid is further contacted by the gas and simultaneously formed into a plurality of coalesceable droplets, coalescing the coalesceable droplets into larger droplets containing the unwanted liquid, and separating the larger droplets containing the unwanted liquid from the fluid.

Method for the selective extraction of acids, bases and polar salts

A process for the extraction of an unwanted material from a fluid containing the unwanted material comprising the steps of introducing an immiscible extraction fluid into the fluid having an unwanted material therein to form a plurality of extraction fluid droplets in the fluid, allowing the plurality of extraction fluid droplets to hydrophilicly interact with the unwanted material in the fluid to cause the extraction fluid droplets to form into a plurality of coalesceable droplets, coalescing the coalesceable droplets into larger droplets containing the unwanted material, and separating the larger droplets containing the unwanted material from the fluid.
