A surgical instrument for use in knee joint replacement surgery includes a first fastening device for fastening to a reference component attached to a distal femur, a second fastening device spaced apart distally from the first fastening device for fastening to a tibial cutting block for cutting guidance on a proximal tibia, a circular arc guide connected to the first and second fastening devices by which the second fastening device is movable relative to the first fastening device and guided in a sagittal guide plane, a first linear guide by which the circular arc guide is connected to the first fastening device and movable relative thereto guided in the guide plane along a first guide path, and a second linear guide by which the second fastening device is connected to the circular arc guide and movable relative thereto and guided in the guide plane along a second guide path.

Surgical instrument

In order to improve a surgical instrumentarium for preparing a femur and a tibia for the implantation of the knee joint endoprosthesis, which instrumentarium comprises a first sawing template with three guidance slots for guiding a saw blade, which three guidance slots define three intersecting cutting planes, in such a way that the number of necessary instruments of the instrumentarium may be reduced, it is proposed that the instrumentarium comprises a second sawing template, that the second sawing template has a fourth guidance slot for guiding a saw blade, and that the first sawing template and the second sawing template are coupled to each other in a force- and/or form-fitting manner in a coupling position and are separated from each other in a separating position.

Surgical instrumentarium

The invention relates to a medical sawing template system, comprising an aligning apparatus for aligning a medical sawing template relative to a human or animal bone, which aligning apparatus comprises at least one fastening element receptacle for a fastening element fixable in bone, a first coupling member which is coupleable or coupled to a sawing template, a distance-changing device for varying a distance between the fastening element receptacle and the first coupling member, and an angle-changing device for varying an angle between the fastening element receptacle and the first coupling member, wherein the distance-changing device comprises a distance-setting member which is rotatable about a distance-setting member rotational axis, and/or wherein the angle-changing device comprises an angle-setting member which is rotatable about an angle-setting member rotational axis.

Medical sawing template system

A surgical or medical container content detection system includes a container content sensor device for arrangement in a sterilization container. The container content sensor device includes a carrier and at least one sensor arranged or formed on the carrier for detecting at least one identification element which is arranged or formed on an object stored in the sterilization container for the identification thereof. A carrier module arranged on the carrier includes a detection device for detecting at least one detected identification element and is arranged for the purpose of wirelessly transmitting information about the object identified by the detected identification element to the outside of the sterilization container.

Surgical container contents detection system

In a first aspect of the invention relates to a medical guide device for working on a bone. This guide device includes a holding arrangement, which is holdable firmly against a bone, for holding the guide device firmly against the bone and a saw template with a guide slot for a saw blade. In an adjustment position, the holding arrangement and the saw template engage with one another and are arranged to be movable in relation to one another. The holding arrangement and the saw template are movable from the adjustment position into a sawing position in which they are held firmly and immovably in relation to one another. Said guide device includes a coupling arrangement for coupling the holding arrangement and the saw template in the adjustment position and in the sawing position.
