In a method for isochronous communication of components of a multi-component apparatus, which communicate via peer-to-peer communication connections created by a switch, a periodic communication clock signal is provided by a control computer to all the components, with a communication window between two communication clock cycles of the communication clock signal, in which a communication information item of the isochronous communication is transferrable from a transferring component to at least one addressed component. A synchronization, in relation to the communication clock signal, between at least two of the components is produced by at least one synchronization message sent via the switch by one of the components to be synchronized to all the other components to be synchronized in a communication time window.

A device for recovering a temporal reference in a free-running magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) receive chain includes a time reference encoder and a time reference decoder. The time reference encoder is configured to generate a modulation signal as a function of a reference clock, where the modulation signal is configured for a correlation with a temporal resolution less than a maximum predetermined phase deviation and a maximum that may clearly be identified. A method for controlling a signal with a plurality of independent components is provided. The signal is fed as an input signal via an input path to a control path that supplies an output signal. The output signal is fed via an output path to a control apparatus controlling the input signal. A coupling signal is determined in a coupling determination apparatus. On the basis of the coupling signal, the independent components are decoupled in a decoupling apparatus, as a result of which, a decoupled output signal is generated. Components of the decoupled output signal are decoupled from the components of the input signal. The decoupled output signal is fed as a control variable to the control apparatus. The control apparatus controls each independent component separately on the basis of a desired signal with a diagonal controller and outputs the input signal as a manipulated variable.

Method and device for controlling a signal with a plurality of independent components

A modulator for radio-frequency signals designed an entirely digital modulator has two mixer stages connected in series. The first mixer stage implements with a relatively low first sample rate a frequency mixing with a first oscillator frequency that is adjustable with high precision. The second mixer stage implements a frequency mixing with a significantly higher second sample rate and with a relatively coarsely adjustable second oscillator frequency. The downstream second mixer stage, in the case of a single mixer stage, the mixer stage, has at least two phase accumulators that are incremented with the higher second sample rate but with different incremental values. The output signal of at maximum one of the phase accumulators is evaluated at any point in time.
