A gas injector for injecting a gaseous fuel. The gas injector includes a solenoid actuator having an armature, an internal pole and a coil; a closing element, which unblocks and seals a gas path at a valve seat, the armature being connected to the closing element; a sealed lubricant chamber, which is filled with a lubricant, and in which the armature is situated, the lubricant ensuring lubrication of the armature; and a flexible sealing element, which seals the lubricant chamber with respect to the gas path, a damping device being situated in the lubricant chamber.

Gas injector having reduced wear

A gas injector for injecting a gaseous fuel. The gas injector includes: a magnetic actuator having an armature, an inner pole and a coil; a closing element, having a valve needle, the closing element opening and closing a gas path at a sealing seat, the armature being connected to the closing element; a closed off lubricant chamber which is filled with a lubricant and in which the armature is arranged, the lubricant ensuring lubrication of the armature; a flexible sealing element sealing the lubricant chamber with respect to the gas path; a restoring element which resets the closing element to a closed starting position; and a first needle guide formed between a guide sleeve and the valve needle. The first needle guide is arranged in the lubricant chamber radially inside the flexible sealing element, and the restoring element is arranged in the lubricant chamber inside the flexible sealing element.

A method for providing vehicle-trajectory information. The method includes a read-in task, in which at least one item of inertial information is read in that indicates at least one parameter of a movement of a vehicle during travel. In addition, the method includes an acquisition task, in which location information is acquired that indicates the position of the vehicle during the movement. Fuel injector

A fuel injector has a valve needle that has a maximum diameter at a flow-off edge, and a valve seat acting together with the valve needle using a sealing seat, the valve seat widening, starting from the sealing seat up to a discharge edge, and the flow-off edge of the valve needle being offset backwards, in relation to the flow direction, with respect to the discharge edge of the valve seat, when the fuel injector is closed. The flow-off edge of the valve needle is offset backwards with respect to the discharge edge of the valve seat in a predetermined range of 2 micrometers to 20 micrometers, in the direction of a longitudinal valve axis.

Damping elements for a fuel injection valve insertable into a receiving conduit of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine are disposed between a valve housing of the fuel injection valve and a wall of the receiving conduit of the cylinder head. These damping elements, inter alia, decrease acoustic transfer from the fuel injection valve to the cylinder head. It is disadvantageous that conventional damping elements require a great deal of axial installation space with respect to a valve axis and have comparatively high manufacturing costs. With the damping element according to example embodiments of the present invention, the installation space required is reduced. Provision is made, according to example embodiments of the present invention, for the damping element to be in plate-shaped fashion.

Damping element for a fuel injection valve

A pressure-effected interconnection of a metal part and a plastic part which is slipped over the metal part with a press fit, in particular in a fuel injector for internal combustion engines, is provided in which, for a reliable connection between the pressing pieces, without high demands on manufacturing tolerances, the outer wall of the metal part has circumferential ribs disposed one behind the other in the axial direction, with a back that rises from the outer wall towards the outside in the slide-on direction of the plastic part, and a flank that falls steeply from the back to the outer wall. Each rib has disposed in front of it&#x2014;viewed in the slide-on direction of the plastic part&#x2014;an annular groove, the annular groove being introduced into the outer wall, directly at the foot of the back.

Pressure-effected interconnection of a metal part and a plastic part

A mounting device for attaching a fuel injector both to a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine and to a fuel distribution line, includes two spring tongues which are insertable into a holding groove of the fuel injector or the fuel distribution line. A distance between the tips of the spring tongues is smaller than the largest diameter of the opening surface enclosed by them, and the spring tongues are radially elastically displaced with respect to an axis of the fuel injector. At least two spring elements, elastically displaced in the axial direction with respect to the spring tongues by either tensile or compressive forces, are formed and are axially non-positively, detachably connectable to the opposite fuel injector or the fuel distribution line via a catch connection.

Fixing device

A fuel injection system for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine, including at least one fuel injector and a fuel rail, includes, for each fuel injector, an intake connectible to an intake section of the fuel injector. A corrugated tube is arranged between the intake of the fuel rail and the intake section of the fuel injector. The corrugated tube includes two identical end sections that are able to be brought together concentrically with guide sections of the intake section of the fuel injector and of the intake of the fuel rail. Sealing arrangement are undetachably arranged at the end sections.

Fuel injection system

A fuel-injection system for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine, having at least one fuel injector and a fuel-distributor line, is provided with an inflow for each fuel injector, which has a flexible section and is connectable to an inflow section of the fuel injector. The flexible section is made up of three concentric sleeve sections which radially overlap at least partially and are interconnected by bends, doubled when viewed in the axial cross section.

A fuel injector, such as a fuel injector for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines, includes a valve needle, the valve-closure member of which cooperates with a valve seat surface to form a sealing seat, and includes an armature engaging with the valve needle, the armature being arranged on the valve needle in an axially movable manner and being damped by a damping element including an elastomer. A ring space is formed between damping element and the valve needle, which is filled with fuel, the ring space being in contact with a throttle gap.
