A surface light guide for a light of a motor vehicle. The surface light guide includes a light coupling section which is directly or indirectly connected to a light decoupling section. The light decoupling section includes a first flat side, a second flat side which is arranged opposite to the first flat side, a light decoupling surface which is arranged on the first flat side, and a decoupling structure which is arranged on the first flat side or on the second flat side. The decoupling structure has a plurality of individual and spaced-apart light decoupling elements. The decoupling structure deflects light rays which are coupled in by an illuminant so that deflected light rays are emitted through the light decoupling surface. The light coupling section couples in light rays from the illuminant and mixes the coupled-in light rays.

Surface light guide for a lamp of a motor vehicle and lamp for a motor vehicle

An illumination apparatus for a motor vehicle, the illumination apparatus having a printed circuit board having a plurality of light-emitting diodes arranged thereon. An optical lens plate and a reflector element are provided with the reflector element being arranged between the printed circuit board and the optical lens plate. The reflector element has a plurality of segments into which the reflector element is divided, and each light-emitting diode is associated with a segment so that light emitted from the light-emitting diodes is reflected at the reflector element and passes through the optical lens plate.

Illumination apparatus for a motor vehicle

A lighting device for a vehicle, including a light source that is arranged on a circuit board, and a flat light guide, wherein a narrow side of the flat light guide is provided for coupling in light that is emitted by the light source. Oppositely arranged flat sides of the flat light guide are provided for relaying the coupled-in light via total reflection at the flat sides, and including a micro-optics structure that extends on a flat side of the flat light guide so that the flat side of the flat light guide, as a light outcoupling surface, is used to couple out the coupled-in light transversely with respect to a plane of extension of the flat light guide. The circuit board is arranged on a side opposite from the light outcoupling surface of the flat light guide, and the light source is arranged in an overhang portion of the circuit board that protrudes beyond a peripheral edge of the flat light guide.

A light-guide element for a lighting device for a motor vehicle, wherein the light-guide element has a defined position for a light-emitting diode, a first reflection surface, a second reflection surface, and an outcoupling surface. The defined position, the first reflection surface, the second reflection surface, and the output coupling surface are arranged relative to one another such that light from the light-emitting diode is emitted from the defined position in a first light direction to the first reflection surface, is reflected at the first reflection surface to the second reflection surface in a second light direction substantially opposite to the first light direction and can be deflected from the second reflection surface onto the outcoupling surface in a third light direction.

Light-guide element for a lighting device for a motor vehicle

An illumination device for a motor vehicle having a printed circuit board with a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed thereon. An optical pane and a reflector element are provided, whereby the reflector element is disposed between the printed circuit board and the optical pane. The reflector element has a plurality of segments into which the reflector element is divided. Each light emitting diode is assigned a segment so that light emitted from the light emitting diodes is reflected by the segments of the reflector element and passes through the optical pane.

In the hologram element, such hologram information is inserted that by changing a viewing angle from a center position of the viewer, in which the viewer is arranged vertically to a surface of the hologram element, in the direction of a lateral boundary position of the viewer in which a boundary of the field of view is reached, at least in some areas, a distance between the generated hologram image and the hologram image in the center position is increased or is rotated by a vertical and/or horizontal axis, and/or a brightness of the hologram image is reduced.

A lighting device for a motor vehicle, wherein the lighting device has a circuit board with a multiplicity of light-emitting diodes arranged thereon, a transparent optical layer, and a reflector element, wherein the reflector element is arranged between the circuit board and the optical layer, wherein the reflector element has multiple segments into which the reflector element is subdivided, wherein a segment is associated with each light-emitting diode so that light emitted by the light-emitting diodes can be reflected by the reflector element and can pass through the optical layer. Lighting device for a motor vehicle

A lighting device for vehicles with a first lighting unit having a light source and a light beam surface for emitting light and with a second lighting unit containing a light source and a flat light guide having opposite flat sides and narrow sides connecting the same for backlighting the first lighting unit. The flat light guide of the second lighting unit has a backlighting section and a linear light section. The backlighting section is arranged behind the first lighting unit and a front flat side of the flat light guide in the backlighting section serves as a light decoupling surface for the light decoupling of a first part of the light coupled into the flat light guide. The linear light section is at least partially arranged next to the first lighting unit. A narrow side of the flat light guide serves as a light decoupling line.

A lighting device for a vehicle, having a plurality of light sources, which are arranged in an array, in particular in line-by-line and column-by-column fashion, and can be operated independently of each other at least in part, wherein the light sources emit light during operation; an exit face through which the light emanating from the light sources passes; and a plurality of extensive boundary elements, which extend at least partly in a region between the light sources and the exit face and serve to separate the light emanating from different light sources, wherein at least some, preferably all, of the extensive boundary elements have a reflector which at least partly reflects the light emanating from one of the light sources in the direction of the exit face.

Lighting device for a vehicle

A lighting device for a motor vehicle having a light source, a light guide with an entrance surface, and a hologram disposed on or in the light guide. The lighting device is configured such that light emanating from the light source enters the entrance surface of the light guide and interacts with the hologram so that an image stored in the hologram is reconstructed and is visible to an observer of the lighting device. The light guide has a first exit surface and a second exit surface. The lighting device is configured such that light that has interacted with the hologram exits through the first exit surface and that light that has not interacted with the hologram exits through the second exit surface.

A lighting device for a motor vehicle having at least one first module and at least one second module and is set up to produce light with a second color different from a first color of the first module in operation of the lighting function. A shared at least partially transparent cover for the at least one first and the at least a second module is designed such that the light emitted by the respective module can escape through the cover from the lighting device. An LC display is arranged between the at least one first module and the cover and is set up to be controlled such that at least part of the light emitted by the first module enters an inlet surface of the LC display and exits from an exit surface of the LC display at least partially in the direction of the cover.

A taillight for a motor vehicle, comprising a light guide element, a light source, and a light emission surface. The light source emits light in the direction of a first end of the light guide element. The light guide element is designed to guide the light from the first end in the direction of a second end. The light guide element is designed to output a part of the light between the first end and the second end through the light emission surface to an environment of the taillight. The light guide element has a curved region in which the light guide element is curved away from the light emission surface. The taillight also comprises a reflector designed to reflect light emitted by the light guide element in the direction of the light emission surface. The reflector being arranged directly adjacent to the curved region.

Tail light for a motor vehicle

A lighting apparatus for vehicles, having a light source and a headlamp lens assigned thereto. The headlamp lens has scattering optical elements for scattering the light. A light guide is disposed between the light source and the headlamp lens in such a way that, firstly, light emitted by the light source strikes an area of the headlamp lens delimited by an edge of the same or a portion of the headlamp lens and/or that, secondly, the plurality of light sources are disposed with different spatial orientations with respect to one another in terms of their principal axes such that the light emitted by the light sources strikes different portions of the headlamp lens, wherein the headlamp lens is disposed upstream and/or downstream of the light source in the principal emission direction for the purposes of scattering the light in a transmissive or reflective manner.

Lighting apparatus for vehicles

A lighting assembly for vehicles, having a number of light sources and light guide elements for generating different light functions, with a number of scattering optical elements assigned to the light exit side of the light guide elements for scattering the light. A headlamp lens is arranged at a distance in front of the light guide elements. The first light sources and the second light sources are arranged alternately in the direction of extension of the linear light signature. The scattering optical elements and/or the distance of the headlamp lens to the scattering optical elements and/or a distance in between adjacent first light sources running in the direction of extension are designed such that first light beams exiting in each case from the scattering optical elements assigned to the adjacent first light sources and adjacent in the direction of extension.
