A device for damping pressure pulses, in particular in a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor includes a housing. A damping insert, on whose peripheral surface runs a damping channel, is located in the pressure channel of the housing.

Device for reducing pressure pulses in pressure sensors

A device having at least one housing and one bottom connected to the housing. In this context, the housing has a housing wall and the bottom at least one base. Further it is provided for the base to have a specifiable edge. The essence of the present arrangement now lies in the fact that the edge of the base has at least two regions, a first region being situated closer to the housing wall and a second region being further removed from the housing wall.

A combined liquid and vapor sensor assembly includes a body and a mounting portion for coupling the body to a fuel pump module flange that defines an interface between an interior and an exterior of a fuel tank. A liquid pressure sensor is housed in a recess in the body for sensing a liquid pressure of a fuel in the fuel tank, and a vapor pressure sensor is housed in the recess in the body for sensing a vapor pressure of a fuel vapor in the fuel tank. An electrical connector is coupled with the body for providing power to the liquid pressure sensor and the vapor pressure sensor.

A device for measuring pressure, in particular for measuring high pressure, is provided, having a pressure sensor situated in a sensor housing, the sensor housing having a first sensor housing part provided with a pressure connecting piece and a second sensor housing part provided with an electric terminal. To reduce the manufacturing cost, the second sensor housing part is attached to the first sensor housing part by a connecting part situated between the first sensor housing part and the second sensor housing part, it being possible for the connecting part to be manufactured as a simple punch bent part or thin-walled tubular part, for example.

A device for measuring pressure, e.g., for measuring high pressure, including a pressure transducer that is arranged in a housing and includes sensor elements and a sensor diaphragm on a first side, and on a second side opposite the first side is provided with a cutout that extends from the second side to the sensor diaphragm. The pressure transducer is formed as a semiconductor pressure transducer and, with an edge area of the second side surrounding the cutout, is directly soldered onto a support part, provided with a first pressure-channel section, with the aid of a solder layer in such a manner that the first pressure-channel section and the cutout are interconnected.

In a pressure sensor module according to the prior art, which is intended for detecting the pressure of a corrosive medium, the conventional sensor cell with a pressure sensor chip is modified in order to protect it from corrosion, which results in a large volume for a pressure-transmitting-fluid. This is disadvantageous for the calibration and for a high degree of measurement precision. In a pressure sensor module () according to the invention, a convention sensor cell () is used that has an adapter () connected to it, which has a very small volume for a pressure-transmitting medium.

A pressure sensor module for measuring a differential pressure has a sensor chip for measuring a differential pressures and a module housing with at least two lead lines that are disconnected from one another by the sensor chip and in which lines differential pressures are at least intermittently present, wherein in at least one lead line a valve is disposed that closes the lead line when the sensor chip no longer disconnects the lead lines from one another.

A method of producing a number of pressure sensors includes joining a plurality of support bodies to a metal component, the metal component forming a diaphragm, applying a thin-film coating to produce the sensor elements, and finally dividing the metal component provided with the thin-film coating and the support bodies into a plurality of pressure sensors, each having a single one of the support bodies so that the number of pressure sensors formed corresponds to the plurality of the support bodies.

A method for manufacturing pressure sensing elements which have a metal membrane and a resistive thin film arranged thereon, in which a blind opening is introduced into a base element, and the resistive thin film is applied on a side of the base element facing away from the blind opening. Provision is made for a plurality of pressure sensing elements to be manufactured simultaneously in one panel, and after application of the resistive thin film onto the panel, the panel is sectioned to yield the pressure sensing elements.

A method of determining bad travel distances during traveling of a motor vehicle having a fuel tank, includes the steps of providing a differential pressure sensor at the fuel tank, determining by the differential pressure sensor a filling level of the fuel tank and producing a filling level pressure signal, determining by the differential pressure sensor a gas pressure inside the fuel tank and producing a gas pressure signal, and determining a bad travel distance by evaluating fluctuations in at least one of the pressure signals.
