A medical device, a cooling-fluid/rinsing-fluid hose, and a method for using a medical device. The medical device includes a handpiece with an interior enclosed by a handpiece housing, preferably for receiving a drive. The medical device also has an effector arranged on or coupleable to the handpiece and a supply device for supplying cooling fluid and/or rinsing fluid to the effector. The supply device includes a guide tube or guide cannula that passes through the interior in the handpiece longitudinal direction and is rigidly connected to the handpiece. The guide tube or guide cannula, which opens to the outside in a distal and in a proximal handpiece region, longitudinally guides a preferably single-use cooling-fluid/rinsing-fluid hose that is pushed into the guide tube.

A holding device for holding and supporting at least one medical instrument, more specifically a surgical handpiece. The holding device includes a central feedline, at least one line portion of which is connected to the end portion of a central feedline. At least one surgical handpiece can be coupled to the line portion. The holding device also includes a connector portion formed on another end portion of the central feedline. The connector portion can be coupled to a preliminary cleaning unit, more specifically a water/compressed air gun, and a cleaning unit, more specifically a filter unit connected to a rinsing line.

A sterile container, in particular for medical use or storage of medical products or articles, includes a tray with an external base surface and a lid with an external top surface. At least one slide support element is attached to the tray or to the lid. The sterile container is stackable with a second sterile container that is identical to the sterile container. The slide support element acts as a spacer and slide rail to prevent direct contact between facing base surfaces and top surfaces when handling or stacking the sterile containers.

A surgical device includes a surgical application part having an electric motor with motor windings and an electrical supply cable having a plurality of lines. The electrical supply cable can be connected to the surgical application part at a first end and to a control unit for controlling the electric motor at a second end. The surgical device includes at least one readout antenna which is integrated/provided in the surgical application part or the electrical supply cable. The at least one readout antenna can be supplied with voltage and, as an additional element separate from the motor windings, can activate and read out an RFID chip that is/can be arranged near to the at least one readout antenna, in order to transmit data bidirectionally between the RFID chip and the control unit via the electrical supply cable.

A detector system for a medical motor system includes a multi-channel redundantly-configured detection device, which is accommodated in a hand-held control device that is adapted to control the medical motor system and which is positioned to detect the actuation of an actuation device of the hand-held control device. The multi-channel redundantly-configured detection device allows the plausibility of its output signals to be checked.

The invention relates to a medical device with a machine element mounted so as to be linearly movable and at least one linear guide, comprising at least one ball bearing and defining a longitudinal axis, for guiding a linear movement of the machine element parallel to the longitudinal axis, said at least one ball bearing comprising a plurality of balls which are movably held in corresponding ball holders and which guide the machine element, wherein the plurality of ball holders are constructed in the form of elongated holes.

Medical device

The invention relates to a surgical coupling system which comprises first and second surgical coupling devices each having at least two electrical coupling contacts that are moveable mechanically into engagement with one another. The coupling devices are completely separated from each other in a separated position and are mechanically in engagement with one another in a mechanical coupling position. The system further comprises an electrical switching device which, in the coupling position, is moveable from an OFF position, in which at least one first electrical coupling contact of the first coupling device and at least one first electrical coupling contact of the second coupling device are out of engagement, into an ON position in which the at least one first electrical coupling contact of the first coupling device and the at least one first electrical coupling contact of the second coupling device are in electrically conductive contact or engagement.

Surgical coupling system and surgical drive system

An instrument includes a motor unit with a slide or piston. The operating direction of the slide or piston may be adapted to the bending and stretching movement of the user's index finger. A resiliently elastic extension or tongue transfers the bending and stretching movement of the index finger to the slide or piston on the side of the motor unit. The tongue is fixedly coupled to the slide or piston and extends above the handpiece along a gripping portion. The resilient flexibility of the tongue is selected so that it can be easily bent by the index finger resting on the tongue toward the gripping portion of the handpiece, which then serves as a contact or stop element for an operating element at the tongue and thus ensures fixed clamping of the handpiece between the thumb, the middle finger and the index finger.

In order to improve a surgical appliance comprising a housing having at least one sealed cavity, and a drive unit arranged in the housing, such that the cavity can be sealed in a simple way, and the formation of germs can be reduced or these can be removed in a simple way from the cavity, it is proposed that a fluid connection be provided for forming a flow path into and out of the cavity, and that at least one sealing element be provided for closing the fluid connection to liquid fluids and opening the fluid connection to gaseous fluids.
