A shielding spring contact includes a flat base portion having a top side and a cutout, and a shielding portion having a wall connected to the flat base portion and encircling the cutout. The wall has an outer side, an inner side, an upper side, and a lower side. The lower side of the wall is arranged on the top side of the flat base portion with the lower side of the wall laterally surrounding the cutout. The top side of the flat base portion bears against a bottom side of an assembly housing portion of a first plug-in connector and the shielding portion projects through a first passage opening in the assembly housing portion. The shielding portion projects through a second passage opening in a shielding housing wall and into a shielding housing of a second plug-in connector, bearing against the shielding housing wall.

A fixation device for fixing a contact element within a connector. The device includes a housing defining a contact element receptacle for receiving a contact element and a support face defining a deflection surface for supporting the contact element within the housing, and a clamping device for clamping the contact element in the contact element receptacle with a clamping force directed in a clamping direction. The deflection surface is oriented at an angle relative to the clamping direction such that it deflects a component or portion of the clamping force acting upon the contact element in a direction transverse to the clamping direction.

A cooling device for a connector element includes a cooling channel through which a cooling fluid can flow during operation and a bearing element holding the cooling channel. The cooling channel is a component separate from the bearing element and has a shape of a hollow duct engaging around the bearing element at least in a part of a circumference of the bearing element.

A connector includes a housing and a shielding contact. A gap running in a circumferential direction extends between the housing and the shielding contact. A mating housing of a mating connector is adapted to be inserted into the gap in a plugging direction. The gap opens in the plugging direction into a sealing section in which a sealing ring is retained axially between the shielding contact and the housing.

A contact system comprises a ground cylinder, a shielding cylinder press-fit with the ground cylinder, and a contact ring disposed between the ground cylinder and the shielding cylinder. The contact ring includes a strip of electrically conductive material defining a plurality of projections on at least one longitudinal side. The projections electrically contact the ground cylinder and the shielding cylinder for establishing an electrically conductive connection therebetween.

A plug-in connector element includes an electrically conductive contact element, a housing, a contact protection element, and a temperature sensor accommodated at least in part within the contact protection element. The contact protection element is disposed so that, between the housing and the contact protection element, access to the electrically conductive contact element is prevented for an object having a diameter above a defined value. The temperature sensor measures a temperature of the electrically conductive contact element.

An electrical cable includes a plurality of electrical lines extending from a first section to a third section through a second section. Each electrical line is enveloped by an insulating sheath. The electrical lines are arranged side-by-side in the first section in a first plane and in the third section in a third plane. The insulating sheath is integrally formed as a first insulating section in the first section and as a third insulating section in the third section. The insulating sheath is divided into a first further insulating section and a second further insulating section in the second section that are separated from each other by a gap. The first further insulating section is guided from the first insulating section to the third insulating section in a first arcuate path and the second further insulating section is guided from the first insulating section to the third insulating section in a second arcuate path.

A plug connector comprises a first plug, a second plug, and a securing device configured to mechanically secure the first plug to the second plug. The second plug has a receptacle with a ramp surface and a locking surface. The securing device has a lever pivotably mounted on the first plug. The lever pivotably bears a connecting element which has a securing cam on a free end of the connecting element. The receptacle of the second plug receives the securing cam and the ramp surface of the receptacle cooperates with the free end of the connecting element to forcibly guide the securing cam behind the locking surface of the receptacle when the first plug and the second plug are plugged together.

A plug comprises a plug housing, an electrically conductive plug contact disposed in the plug housing, a contact body cooperating with the plug contact, and a slider displaceably guided in a sliding guide formed on the plug housing. The slider has a ramp surface cooperating with the contact body such that the contact body is pushed against the plug contact when the slider is slid into the plug housing.

A module connector comprises a first connector including a first conductor attached to the first connector at a conductor point of the first connector and a second connector capable of being electrically connected with the first connector and including a second conductor attached to the second connector at a conductor point of the second connector. The first connector and the second connector each have an affixing element and a touch protection disposed on a connection side. The touch protection includes an outer electrically insulated collar and an electrically insulated protection pin surrounded by the collar. A current bridge is disposed between the collar and the protection pin and electrically connects the conductor point of the first connector with the conductor point of the second connector. The collar and the protection pin project beyond the current bridge.

A plug connector for connection with a mating connector in a plugging direction comprises a plug housing having a receptacle and a short circuiting bridge held in a plugging position in the receptacle. The short circuiting bridge has a pair of short circuiting contacts accessible from outside the plug connector counter to the plugging direction. The short circuiting bridge is movable about the plugging position within the receptacle.
