A two-component polyurethane adhesive is described having high strength and extensibility, wherein the mechanical properties are only slightly dependent on the temperature. The polyurethane adhesive can be suitable as a structural adhesive. The adhesive can include a triol, a diol, a polyamine, a polyisocyanate, and a polyurethane polymer having isocayanate groups in certain ratios.

A hot-melt adhesive composition, the use thereof, and a composite body including the hot-melt adhesive composition. The hot-melt adhesive composition includes a polyolefin P, which is solid at 25&#xb0; C., a soft resin WH with a softening point between &#x2212;10&#xb0; C. and 40&#xb0; C., and a polar modified polyolefin wax PW.

The invention relates to a process for sealing an above-ground or underground construction. In particular it involves the use of non-reactive hot melt adhesives and flexible polyolefin films. This procedure in particular has the advantages that good and long-lasting adhesion can be achieved very quickly, and that in particular by using polyolefin strips coated with non-reactive hot melt adhesives, insulating strips can be obtained simply which are non-tacky at room temperature and can be processed and bonded easily at the construction site.

A foam is disclosed that can be cured by heat having, for example, 10 to 80 vol. % of at least one gas and a compound that can be cured by heat. The foam can include at least one polyurethane polymer and at least one curing agent that can be activated by increased temperature. Foams that can be cured are suitable as flues, sealing compounds, or for the production of coatings, and can be cured by heat for structural adhesive bonds and for lining in vehicle construction.

A method for gluing of shaped bodies made of fiber composite compositions containing a plastic matrix KFZ with polyurethane compositions, the method including: a) application of IR radiation to a defined region of the shaped body of KFZ; b) application of a polyurethane composition to the defined region of the shaped body; c) bonding of the polyurethane composition on the defined region of the shaped body to a substrate; and d) curing of the polyurethane composition. The method is distinguishable by a rapid strengthening (early strength) of the polyurethane composition, so that the bond produced with its use can be machined or stressed already a short time after the application of the polyurethane composition.

Use of polyolefin sealing films coated with non-reactive hot-melt adhesive for sealing

This invention relates to a process for sealing an above-ground or underground structure. It involves in particular the use of non-reactive dispersion adhesive compounds. This process in particular has the advantage that good and long-lived adhesion can be achieved very quickly, and that in particular the non-reactive dispersion adhesives that are used have a small tendency to absorb the plasticizers present in the PVC sealing film, so that as a result this process is best suited to assure long-lasting adhesion of PVC films with various substrates.

The invention relates to relates to moisture-hardened hot melt adhesive which contains at least one polyurethane polymer of formula (I) which comprises aldimine groups and which is solid at room temperature, in addition to at least one polyurethane polymer P which comprises isocyanate groups, if q in formula (I) represents zero, or if X in formula (I) represents N&#x2014;Rwith Ras a substituent of formula (III). The compositions are characterised in that contain visibly less isocyanate monomers and are therefor particularly advantageous from a work-hygiene point of view.
