The application relates to a hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, comprising a first part for being inserted in an ear canal or fully or partially implanted in the head of a user, the first part comprising at least one electrode unit, termed a PR-electrode unit, for making contact to skin or tissue of a user when mounted or implanted in an operational condition, the at least one PR-electrode unit being configured to pick up a physiological response from the user, and wherein the at least one PR-electrode unit comprises an electrically conductive material, e.g. a shape memory alloy. The first part may comprise an implanted part, e.g. in combination with an external part adapted for being located in an ear canal, wherein both parts comprise one or more PR-electrode units. The invention may e.g. be used hearing aids, headsets, ear phones, active ear protection systems, or combinations thereof, e.g. to control processing of the hearing device or to monitor a condition of the user wearing the hearing device.

Hearing device comprising electrodes for picking up a physiological response

A replaceable filter member for a hearing aid device is disclosed. The filter member comprising an unit with a housing configured to be inserted into the ear canal of a user of the hearing aid device. The filter member is configured to prevent ear wax from entering an opening in the housing. The filter member is a one-piece body that is configured to cover several openings in the unit while being attached to the unit.

Detachable filter member for hearing aid device

The invention describes a hearing device with a BTE (Behind-The-Ear) unit and an air filled tube. The BTE unit comprises a power source, a microphone, an amplifier, and a receiver and is configured to be mounted behind or on the ear of a user. The air filled tube as a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the air filled tube is connected to the receiver of the BTE unit and a flexible sealing part is provided at the distal end. The flexible sealing part comprises a core hole permeable for sound transmitted from the air filled tube through a core pathway. The air filled tube is further configured to be arranged in a user's ear canal to transmit sound generated by the BTE unit to a tympanic membrane of the user. The flexible sealing part is arranged in a bony portion of the user's ear canal when in use. The diameter of the flexible sealing part is at least as large as the diameter of the bony portion of the ear canal of a user to close the ear canal.

A hearing aid component with earwax filter is provided, wherein the hearing aid component has a sound inlet opening that has at least two sound inlet portions having different diameters and being displaced with respect to each other in a longitudinal direction of the sound inlet opening so that the sound inlet opening narrows towards the interior of the hearing aid component so that more proximal sound inlet portion has a relatively larger diameter and more distal sound inlet portion has a relatively smaller diameter. The earwax filter is placed in said sound inlet opening and comprises: a cap with an outward-facing and an inward-facing side, and a peripheral edge, said peripheral edge being force-fitted into the sound inlet portion with the relatively larger diameter. The cap has a plurality of sound inlets arranged along the periphery of the cap wherein the sound inlets are arranged along a perimeter of the cap.

A transducer protection comprises a top cap, a stem extending from the top cap and having a distal end and a seal at the stem distal ends. The top cap has an outward facing and an inward facing side, the inward facing side facing the hearing aid, when in use. The stem protrudes into an opening of a hearing aid component to be protected, when in use. The stem's proximal end is connected to the top cap at the top caps inward facing side. The protection has an outward facing contour that is adapted to match an inner wall of the hearing aid component's opening so that the outer contour of the seal contacts the inner wall of the opening, when in use. Within the seal, at least one sound opening is provided that is surrounded by the seal.
