A device for separating sheet material has an actuator and a sheet material holder coupled thereto. The actuator is designed for moving the sheet material holder. The sheet material holder is designed for receiving an individual sheet material piece from a sheet material stack in which the sheet material pieces are arranged in a layered manner one above another along a vertical direction. The actuator is designed to set the sheet material holder into an oscillating rotational movement about a rotation axis that lies substantially parallel to the vertical direction, in order to receive the individual sheet material piece from the sheet material stack.

Device for separating sheet material

A device and a method for separating sheet material is provided. The separation of sheet material is not effected statically, but a suitable pick-up position and/or a suitable pick-up mechanism is selected for each sheet material piece, for example in dependence on the quality of a surface of the sheet material piece to be picked up, in order to pick up the sheet material piece from the sheet material stack and remove it from the same.

A device for arranging sheets in a stack that includes a surface for supporting the stack, one of the surface and the stack define a stack face. The device includes an adjustment unit, a rotatable shaft, a first roller, a second roller, a strip-off wheel, and a center roller. The strip-off wheel is fixedly mounted to the rotatable shaft such that the strip-off wheel rotates with the shaft. The strip-off wheel includes a plurality of teeth that are operable to contact the stack face such that rotation of the strip-off wheel pulls a first sheet from the stack. The center roller is between the first roller and the second roller. The center roller is operable to transport the first sheet pulled from the stack to a transfer device and to receive a second sheet from the transfer device and transfer the second sheet to an end of the stack face.

Roll-on and strip-off apparatus for the stacked depositing of sheets

The invention relates to a device for depositing notes, which comprises a plurality of storage compartments for depositing the notes, means for transporting the notes to the storage compartments and for the organized deposit of the same on stacks disposed in the storage compartments. The inventive device comprises one or more parallel revolving belts on which fingers are successively disposed in the longitudinal direction which cooperate with the belts to give receiving pockets for the notes. Every storage compartment is associated with a respective stripping element interposed between the storage compartment and the belts. For depositing a note in the storage compartment the belts and/or the corresponding stripping element can be adjusted relative each other in such a manner that the stripping element projects into the path of a note that is displaced by means of the belt.

The device () comprises at least one carrying face () for carrying a sheet stack, the carrying face itself or the surface of a sheet stack located on it forming a stack face for depositing the sheets. It comprises, furthermore, a roll-on device with a first roller () which can be adjusted transversely with respect to its longitudinal axis along an adjustment path which is directed parallel with respect to the stack face, and with at least one first belt () which is led from above around the first roller and, parallel with respect to the stack face, to a first fastening point () in the region of one end of the adjustment path, at which fastening point said first belt is secured, the stack face () being pressed from below against the at least one first belt () in order to retain the sheet stack. Finally, the device () comprises a sheet supply device which is suitable for transporting a sheet with an edge toward one end of the stack face, from which end it is rolled onto the stack face in the direction of the other end of the latter, the sheet supply device being adjustable along the adjustment path between a first position, in which it can transport the sheet () with the edge () toward one end of the stack face (), and at least one further position, in which it can lead the sheet () with the edge () toward one end of a further stack face () or into a transport device () for the further transport of the sheet ().

Device for selectively stacking sheets

The invention is concerned with a transport device for sheets, with which branching of the transport path can be implemented in a manner which is simple and not susceptible to faults. This object is achieved by a transport device which comprises a first belt transport unit and a second belt transport unit, the second belt transport unit being arranged transversely with respect to the first belt transport unit. Between the belts of the first belt transport unit and of the second belt transport unit, a transport path for valuable documents or bank notes is formed in each case. At the end of the transport path, the leading edge of a sheet which is transported along the transport path of the first belt transport unit strikes the upper transverse belt of the second belt transport unit and is deflected by the belt in such a way that it is now transported along the transport path of the second belt transport unit. Depending on the direction of rotation of the rolls which are used to guide and to drive the belts, the sheet can be deflected into the left or right section of the second belt transport unit, so that a diverter function is made possible hereby without separate drives or control means being necessary. Furthermore, by driving the direction of rotation of the rolls, a sheet stack can be formed within the transport path of the second belt transport unit.

A device for accepting banknotes comprises a compartment for receiving a bundle of banknotes and a separating mechanism for extracting individual banknotes from the bundle. A sensor system for detecting metallic foreign bodies connected to the banknotes is arranged along at least one of the walls defining the compartment.

In the case of a dispensing unit for dispensing individual sheets, in particular banknotes, having a box-like container for accommodating a sheet stack, which can be moved with a stack end surface in the direction of the front end wall of the container, having an accommodating module for accommodating the container, and having a withdrawal device for withdrawing individual sheets from the stack end surface through a dispensing opening of the container, the withdrawl device having a drivable withdrawal roll, which is intended for butting against the stack end surface, a transporting roll, which is arranged parallel to the withdrawal roll and can be driven in the same direction as the latter, and a counter-rotating roll, which is assigned to the transporting roll, can be driven in the opposite direction to the latter and forms a nip with the transporting roll, at least the withdrawal roll is arranged within the container.
