An impeller for an exhaust gas turbocharger may include a hub main body and blades arranged thereon. The hub main body may be configured as a polygon with a number of segments that may be tilted with respect to one another, the number of the segments corresponding to a number of the blades. Alternatively, the hub main body may have a main surface that faces the blades and undulates in a circumferential direction, a number of the undulations corresponding to the number of the blades.

The present invention relates to an antenna (), especially a vehicle mounted antenna for use in mobile telephony. In order to achieve a compact, especially flat and short construction for the antenna, as configured, a radiating open hollow cavity resonator with a specially designated set of wide band slots () is arranged on a nonconductive board with multiple conductive areas (, and) situated about the slots ().

Wide band slot cavity antenna

An antenna for receiving electromagnetic waves, the antenna including a resonator having an electrically conductive bottom, an electrically conductive top, and an electrically nonconductive section between an electrically conductive side wall and the electrically conductive top. The electrically conductive bottom being in electrical contact with the electrically conductive side wall, which extends from the electrically conductive bottom to a grounding surface. Antenna for satellite reception

An antenna, especially for use with mobile radios, that is mounted in an opening of a motor vehicle. The antenna includes at least one radiator with connecting line and the radiator is mounted in the opening behind a nontransparent, nonconductive covering. In one embodiment the radiator is configured as a monopole with matched balancing antennae that are strip conductors laid out on a printed circuit board attached to a ventilation structure mounted in an opening behind a covering nonconductive bumper.

Vehicle antenna

In an antenna having at least one vertical radiator, preferably a vehicle mobile radiotelephone antenna, the at least one vertical radiator is connected to the ground on one end and to a vertical conductor fed against the ground on the other end by means of an impedance transforming device having an electrical length which is approximately one fourth the mean operating wavelength or an uneven multiple thereof. Said structure makes it possible for the at least one vertical radiator to have a uniform current occupancy over its entire length. By cooperating with the vertical conductor fed in a co-radiating manner, said occupancy exhibits high radiation power comparable to that of a &lgr;/4 monopole antenna despite the fact that the at least one vertical radiator has a smaller length which is approximately {fraction (1/10)} of the mean operating wavelength. The invention also describes advantageous embodiments or configurations of said antenna and practical arrangements of said antenna in vehicles.
