A coupling system provides a media-conducting connection of two hose-shaped sections (). Each section has one coupling element (), with two coupling parts () that can be separated from each other and that are detachably held to each other by closure elements () along a disconnecting point (). The closure parts of one coupling element can be engaged with correspondingly designed closure elements () of the other coupling element () to form the transport section. All closure elements () of the coupling parts () point hose-inward, at least before forming the transport section. Upon producing the transport section, the respective disconnecting point () is arranged between the coupling elements (), transversely to the transport section.

A closure () has two profiled strips () for an at least panially flexible container () for connecting a first container () to a second container () in an environmentally sealed manner and in a closed docking position, and for conducting a flow in a flow direction (D) through the closure () from the first container () into the second container () in an environmentally sealed manner and in an open docking position. The second container () has an identical closure () facing the first container (), and, in the open docking position, is in engagement with the closure () of the first container (). Together with the closure () of the first container (), a flow channel () is defined for the through flow in the flow direction (D). The closures () can be docked to each other and opened jointly in a single step by a separate slider. Due to the dual functional nature of all the closure elements, no closure element () is exposed in the channel-upward direction to the material to be transferred. A slider () connects and separates the closures (), and has an insenion side (), on which the closures () can be insened into the slider () in insertion directions (A, B), which form an acute angle, and an output side () opposite the insenion side (), on which the closures (), which are connected to each other and are open, can be led out from the slider () in a common slide direction (C).

A flexible container () has sealed connection to a process unit (). A vacuum is applied to chambers () opening into one another. A lock system includes a first lock and a second lock each with two profile strips operable for engagement with an at least partially flexible bundle and effective to enable a connection of a first bundle with a second bundle in a closed docking position and for guidance of a flow in a flow direction through lock members from the first bundle into the second bundle in an open docking position. The second bundle provides the lock members facing toward the first bundle, which lock members in the open docking position engage the lock members of the first bundle and jointly with the lock members of the first bundle form a flow channel for flow in the flow direction. Additionally, a slider for connecting and separating such locks is provided.

A system and method for connecting two flexible containers is provided, in particular for the environmentally sealed connecting of two open ends of tubular films. The method has at least the following method steps of: everting a first open end of a first flexible container over a first ring; everting a second open end of a second flexible container over a second ring, subsequently inserting the first ring through the second ring into the inside of the second flexible container; subsequently aligning, in a parallel and coaxial relationship, the rings in relation to one another; and abutting the rings with the ends clamped in between them.

The invention relates to a coupling closure for a docking device used for decanting, filling, and/or emptying containers, particularly in an environmentally isolated manner. The coupling closure has a closure side and a container side and comprises a nozzle stub and a cap which is mounted in the nozzle stub so as to be pivotable about an axis and has an external side that faces the closure side in the closed position. The invention further relates to a docking device for decanting, filling, and/or emptying containers, particularly in an environmentally isolated manner. The docking device comprises first and second disclosed coupling closures which can be placed flush against each other by the respective closure sides thereof. The invention also relates to a working platform, a locking unit for a docking device, and a method for decanting, filling, and/or emptying containers, particularly in an environmentally isolated manner.

Coupling locks, attachment modules, and docking devices allow for re-filling, filling and/or emptying of containers in a manner that is insulated against the environment. An attachment module includes a coupling lock and a locking clamp, where the coupling lock includes a pipe nozzle and a closing flap. A first clamping element is located on an outer side of the pipe nozzle to engage with a second clamping element by means of the locking clamp to create a temporary connection. A docking device includes the first coupling lock or the attachment module, and a second coupling lock, complementary to the first coupling lock. When the closing flaps of the first and second coupling locks are brought into contact with each other, they can be pivoted from a closed position, where they lock the transfer channel formed by the pipe nozzles, around a shared axis into an open position.

A docking device for transferring the contents of, filling, and/or emptying containers comprises first and second coupling latches positioned flush to one another along respective closing sides thereof. A locking unit is configured for locking together pipe nozzles of the first and second coupling latches. The locking unit includes at least one movable first arresting element that is present in a passage that has an opening to an exterior of the second coupling latch, and is configured to interact with a corresponding second arresting element present on an exterior of the pipe nozzle of the second coupling latch. The docking device further comprises a bolt that is movable in a cylinder. The bolt has a first section with a first diameter, a second section with a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter, and a third transfer section between the first and second section with a tapering diameter.

A coupling closure is provided for substantially environmentally-sealed reversible closure of containers or hose elements. At least one first flexible band with at least one first closure element is provided. At least one second flexible band is provided with at least one second closure element that is complementary to the first closure element. A top side of the first band comprises at least one third closure element and a top side of the second band comprises at least one fourth closure element. Also a coupling closure is provided for substantially environmentally-sealed reversible closure of containers or hose elements comprising a plurality of frame bands and articulation devices. Immediately adjacent frame bands are connected with one another via at least one articulation device between the immediately adjacent frame bands to form a circumferential folding frame wherein inner sides of at least two adjacent or opposing frame bands are foldable one on top the other to form a closure.

Coupling closures and docking devices comprising said coupling closures

A docking seal system has a first flexible enclosure with a first coupling seal and a second flexible enclosure with a second coupling seal. Each of the coupling seals has first and second sealing strips. A first zip slide is engageable with the first and second sealing strips of the first coupling seal and a second zip slide is engageable with the first and second sealing strips of the second coupling seal so that the respective first and second coupling seals can be opened and closed. The first and second zip slides are each combined with a respective portion of a coupling slide to form respective combined slides. When the combined slides are combined together, the respective portions of the coupling slides mate together to form the coupling slide, the coupling slide engaging or disengaging the first and second coupling seals so as to dock or separate the first and second flexible enclosures from one another.

In a multiple coupling lock system and method for an environmentally sealed filling or refilling of a first container or a first hose, a first coupling lock has an opening area which is opened. A first flexible conveyance unit has a first end connected to the first coupling lock in an environmentally sealed manner. A second opposite end of the first flexible conveyance unit connects to a second coupling lock in an environmentally sealed manner, the opening area of the first coupling lock being sufficiently large when opened to allow the second coupling lock to pass therethrough. The second coupling lock connects in an environmentally sealed manner to the first container or first hose. The system or method provides the ability to environmentally fill or refill the first container or first hose-in an environmentally sealed manner.

A coupling seal includes a first sealing strip containing first and second bearing elements on opposing ends of a rabbet body and a second sealing strip containing first and second bearing elements on opposing ends of a rabbet body. Interior sides of the rabbet bodies seal against one another, at least in sections, such that the first bearing element of the first sealing strip is arranged adjacent to the second bearing element of the second sealing strip and the second bearing element of the first sealing strip is arranged adjacent to the first bearing element of the second sealing strip. A first flexible element extends between first and second fixing devices of the first sealing strip, and a second flexible element extends between first and second fixing devices of the second sealing strip. The first and second flexible elements, when installed, may have a pre-stress.
