An injector for inserting an intraocular lens into a capsular bag of an eye includes an injector body having an injector tip defining an opening. The injector body has a proximal end facing away from the opening and has a distal end. A first piston is directed toward the opening and is configured to contact and displace the intraocular lens. A second piston is operable from outside of the injector and the first piston and the second piston are each configured to be longitudinally displaceable along the injector axis. A handle is operated from outside of the injector and is configured to be coupled to the first piston so that when the pistons are in the decoupling state, the first piston is displaced toward the opening and relative to the second piston by moving the handle.

An injector for inserting an intraocular lens into the capsular bag of an eye has an injector body; a plunger for displacing the lens out of the injector in an insertion direction, with the lens having an optic body with an optical axis and a rear and a front haptic; a rear mechanism for displacing an optic body distant longitudinal end of the rear haptic onto the optic body via a displacement of the plunger; a front mechanism for displacing an optic body distant longitudinal end of the front haptic along a front trajectory having a front component parallel to the optical axis; and a handle operable from outside of the injector and which has a first catch coupled to the plunger to carry along the plunger in the insertion direction via a longitudinal displacement of the handle and has a second catch to carry along the front displacement mechanism.

Provided is an injector assembly, comprising: &#x2014;an injector, which has a plunger and a cannula and is designed to move an intraocular lens through the cannula by means of a translational motion of the plunger; &#x2014;a magnetic coupling; and&#x2014;a drive unit, which has a first coupling half of the magnetic coupling, a motor, which is designed to drive the first coupling half into a first rotational motion, and a housing, within which the first coupling half and the motor are encapsulated and which has an annular housing portion, which delimits a channel having a circular cross-section. The injector has a second coupling half of the magnetic coupling, and the injector and the second coupling half are arranged in the channel. The first coupling half is arranged around the annular housing portion and is thus designed to perform the first rotational motion around the annular housing portion and thus to drive the second coupling half into a second rotational motion by means of a magnetic field of the magnetic coupling, which magnetic field penetrates the annular housing portion. The injector is designed to convert the second rotational motion into the translational motion of the plunger.

The application relates to an electrodynamic converter (), comprising a coil (), a claw disk () associated with the coil () and having a disk component () that can be rotated about an axis of rotation and a disk component () that is stationary relative thereto, comprising a further claw disk () associated with the coil () and having a disk component () that can be rotated about the axis of rotation and a disk component () that is stationary relative thereto, and comprising magnetic flux components, which have oppositely magnetized magnetic components () and magnetic flux elements composed of soft magnetic material, of which at least some are associated with a magnetic flux through the claw disk () or a further magnetic flux through the further claw disk () during operation, which are formed in alternation as the rotatable disk component () of the claw disk () and the rotatable disk component () of the further claw disk () are rotated, wherein the magnet-flux-closing relative positions for the claw disk () and the further claw disk () are formed having an angular offset to each other, as are also non-magnetic relative positions.

Electrodynamic converter

A rotational device for rotating an endoscope having an operating element for moving a movable assembly of the endoscope includes a rotatable assembly, to which an endoscope is connectable, a stationary assembly, relative to which the rotatable assembly is rotatable, a first drive means for rotating the rotatable assembly relative to the stationary assembly in order to put a shaft of an endoscope connected to the rotatable assembly into rotational motion about a longitudinal axis of the endoscope, and a second drive means for moving an operating element of the endoscope connected to the rotatable assembly relative to the shaft of the endoscope in order to move an assembly of the endoscope, which assembly is movable by means of the operating element.

Rotational device and method for rotating an endoscope

A linear drive for a miniaturized optical system, as used for example in an endoscope, includes a stator and an armature. The stator has a coil with two stator pole shoes arranged in axial direction, and two magnetic field sensors arranged at the outer side of the stator pole shoes. The armature has permanent magnets which are polarized in opposite directions, and a center armature pole shoe between the two permanent magnets, and an armature pole shoe at each side of the permanent magnet, opposite to the center armature pole shoe in axial direction. The magnetic field of the outer armature pole shoe goes completely or only in part, dependent from the armature position, through the magnetic field sensor and thus generates a position-dependent signal. This signal can be used for measuring and/or controlling the position of the armature.

Position controlled electrodynamic linear motor

A linear stepper motor is used for the displacement of an armature parallel to a stator having N steps. The stator includes (N+2) stator pole pieces which are enclosed by a magnetic guiding element and are each approximately the same distance from neighboring stator pole pieces. Furthermore, at least one coil is located between two stator pole pieces. The armature is enclosed by the stator in the radial direction and has a permanent magnet magnetized parallel to the stator which is disposed between two armature pole pieces. As a result of the reluctance forces, the armature occupies stable idle positions inside the stator in which the stator pole pieces lie opposite the armature pole pieces. By energizing the coils with a short current pulse, the armature can be displaced inside the stator between the different stable idle positions.
