Described is a rotation limitation module for a steer-by-wire steering system. Said rotation limitation module comprises a housing in which a shaft portion that is rotatable about a central axis and is able to be rotatably coupled to a steering wheel shaft or is configured as a portion of the steering wheel shaft is received. Furthermore provided is a limiter disk which by way of a sliding guide is coupled in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable manner to the shaft portion and has an external thread which is driven into an internal thread of the housing. Moreover, the rotation limitation module comprises a first detent ring having a first detent wing, and a second detent ring having a second detent wing, both detent wings for limiting a rotation of the shaft portion being able to cooperate with the limiter disk. A steering wheel module for a steer-by-wire steering system is also disclosed, which comprises such a rotation limitation module.

A rotation-limiting assembly for a steer-by-wire steering system is described. The rotation-limiting assembly comprises a housing, in which a shaft portion rotatable about a center axis is accommodated, wherein the shaft portion is coupled to the housing via a threaded pair, a sliding guide, and a force fit or a further sliding guide. The force fit couples the shaft portion to the housing in such a manner that, when a predefined breakaway torque is exceeded, the shaft portion is rotatable in relation to the housing. Furthermore, a first stop disk is provided on a first axial side of a sliding guide external contour of the sliding guide and a second stop disk is provided on a second axial side. Moreover, a steering wheel assembly for a steer-by-wire steering system, having such a rotation-limiting assembly is presented.

Described is a rotation limitation module for a steer-by-wire steering system. Said rotation limitation module comprises a housing in which a shaft portion is received. Furthermore, a limiter disk by way of a sliding guide is coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to the shaft portion and by way of an external thread is driven into an internal thread of the housing. Provided on the housing are detent geometries and on the limiter disk counter-detent geometries which, for limiting a rotation of the shaft portion in a first rotation direction and a second rotation direction, counter to said first rotation direction, are configured for contacting a respectively assigned detent geometry. A steering wheel module for a steer-by-wire steering system, which comprises such a rotation limitation module, is also disclosed.

The disclosure specifies a gear assembly for an electric-motor assisted steering system, comprising an electric motor, a worm shaft which can be driven by the electric motor and which meshes with a worm wheel. The worm shaft has a recess on an end face which faces the electric motor, in which recess there is arranged an elastic element which applies an axial force to the worm shaft in the direction away from the electric motor. In the axial direction, the elastic element is supported by one end on an adjustment element, which is formed in such a way that it permits expansion of the elastic element in the axial direction when the axial force on the worm shaft exceeds a defined threshold value, and limits expansion of the elastic element when the axial force on the worm shaft lies below the defined threshold value.

Gear assembly and steering system

A method to manufacture electric power steering systems is proposed. First, an electric motor having a drive shaft, a coupling device, and a worm gear having a worm shaft are provided. Then, an adjusting sleeve is provided, and an individual axial position of each adjusting sleeve in its associated opening is determined in order to achieve a specific axial preloading force on the worm shaft. The adjusting sleeve is press-fitted into the axial opening in the determined axial position, and a spring element is installed in the adjusting sleeve so that the spring element is supported on one end axially on the drive shaft and on its other end it is supported axially on the adjusting sleeve, and said spring element acts upon the worm shaft with the preloading force in the axial direction via the adjusting sleeve.

Method for the production of electric power steering systems as well as an electric power steering system

A motor/pump unit, particularly for a power-steering arrangement in a motor vehicle, includes a housing, a hydraulic pump unit having a pump module and a motor unit with a drive motor. At least one damping element is provided between the pump unit and a portion of the housing to decouple the noise of the pump unit.

A hydraulic device has an inlet side and an outlet side and includes two meshing cogwheels. Each cogwheel has external oblique teeth and is arranged between an inlet side and an outlet side. At least one control groove is provided on an end side of the cogwheels. The control groove periodically produces a pressure equalizing connection during the rotation of the cogwheels.
