A bolt connection of a tower for a wind turbine is provided, the bolt connection including a tower base module with a tower flange, wherein the tower flange forms the bottom end of the tower, a base flange for connecting the tower base module with a foundation, wherein the base flange includes a traverse bore, and a bolt which extends through the traverse bore of the base flange, wherein the bolt includes a bolt head which is arranged at the bottom side of the base flange facing the foundation. The bolt connection further includes a clamping element which at least partially covers the bolt head. The clamping element presses the bolt head against the bottom side of the base flange.

A lightning protection system for a tower of a wind turbine is provided. The tower includes a reinforced concrete tower wall in which a plurality of electrically conductive structural reinforcing elements are embedded during construction. The lightning protection system includes a plurality of the structural reinforcing elements connected in an electrically conductive manner with each other and with a ground terminal. Further, a method of incorporating such a lightning protection system in a reinforced concrete tower, and a wind turbine with such a lightning protection system is provided.

An aligning tool in the field of wind turbines is provided. The aligning tool has a first and second section. The second section has an outside diameter tapering down in a direction away from the first section. The aligning tool is connected to a fastener and can easily catch a corresponding hole.

Provided is a leveling arrangement for a tower, which leveling arrangement comprises a leveling ring realized for placement between a tower foundation and the tower; and a leveling apparatus, which leveling apparatus comprises a connection means for detachably connecting the leveling apparatus to the leveling ring during a leveling procedure; and a number of adjustment legs, wherein an adjustment leg is realized to effect a displacement of the leveling ring relative to the tower foundation during the leveling procedure; along with a method of providing a level mounting interface for a tower; and a method of erecting a wind turbine tower; and a wind turbine tower assembly.
