A transformer assembly and a method of producing the same are provided. The transformer assembly includes a housing, transformer oil, and a plurality of coils of electrically conductive wire. The transformer oil is disposed within the housing. The coils of electrically conductive wire are disposed in the housing and in contact with the transformer oil. A cross-linked aliphatic polyamide insulation material configured to electrically insulate the electrically conductive wire. The insulation material includes stabilizing compounds that provide thermal and chemical stability for the insulation material.

The adhesion promoting layer is disposed between the cover sheet and the substrate. A composite sheet material and method for forming the same is provided that includes a substrate, a matrix, and a cover sheet. The substrate has a first face surface, a second face surface, and a plurality of edges, and includes a thermoplastic material. The matrix is attached to the substrate. The matrix includes a support component having a first melting point, and a thermoplastic component having a second melting point. The second melting point is less than the first melting point. The cover sheet imparts one or more surface characteristics to the composite sheet material during thermo-pressure formation of the composite sheet material.

Composite sheet material and method for forming the same

A probe is described for analyzing a target using an array of transceivers formed of transmitter/receiver pairs. As opposed to the prior art, the high voltage trigger signals from used to trigger the transmitters are separated from the output signals of the receivers thereby resulting in a simpler and more efficient circuitry. Moreover, the output signals are delayed to compensate for the delays in the echo signals from the target due to the varying distance between the different transceivers and the target. The probe can be used for analyzing pathological organs, as well as many other objects such as gas pipes, airplane wings, etc.

System and method for phased array material imaging

An imaging apparatus includes a transducer, a detecting device and a processor. The transducer includes an emitter and receiver configured to detect a property of an object being scanned at a scanning location. The detecting device is configured to detect a position of the transducer relative to the object being scanned. The processor is configured to obtain, from the transducer, scan information representative of the property when the transducer is positioned at a first position; obtain, form the detecting device, position information representative of the position of the transducer relative to the object being scanned when the transducer is disposed in the first position; determine a coordinate location from the position information; associate the coordinate location with the scan information; and cause the coordinate location associated with the scan information to be stored in a storage.

An ultrasonic probe is composed of a beam having a fixed end and a free end, with an ultrasonic transceiver mounted on the free end. A driving mechanism is used to move said ultrasonic transceiver to one or more predetermined positions by applying an electromagnetic force on the beam.

A transformer assembly is provided that includes a housing, transformer oil disposed within the housing, a plurality of coils of electrically conductive wire, and aliphatic polyamide insulation material operable to insulate the coils disposed within the oil. The plurality of electrically conductive coils is disposed in the housing and in contact with the transformer oil. The aliphatic polyamide insulation material includes stabilizing compounds and nano-fillers. The stabilizing compounds provide thermal and chemical stability for the insulation material.

A radiofrequency ('RF') transmitter site protection system and an RF radiation protection device are provided. The RF radiation protection device includes a control system and a communication module. The control system includes a processor. The communication module is adapted to communicate with a device operable to sense RF radiation and to receive data representative of a level of the RF radiation proximate the RF safety monitoring device from the RF safety monitoring device.
