Exemplary embodiments of methodologies of improving hygiene metric, methodologies of training observers, and software products for improving hygiene metrics are disclosed herein. An exemplary methodology of improving hand-hygiene includes obtaining data indicative of the number of opportunities for one or more users to obtain a dose of hand cleaner for a plurality of dispensers through an electronic monitoring system. In addition, the exemplary methodology includes obtaining data indicative of dispense events by the plurality of dispensers through the electronic monitoring system. The methodology further includes determining a metric for the one or more users as a function of the data indicative of the number of opportunities and the data indicative of dispense events and providing instructions for an observer to obtain observation data related to the one or more users as a function of the metric.

Methods and systems for improving hand hygiene

One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for service notification. A notification component may be associated with a hygiene device, such as a material dispenser. The notification component may receive a service notification request (e.g., an infrared signal or other wireless signal) from a maintenance management device (e.g., a computing device associated with a maintenance cart or mobile device of a housekeeper) based upon the maintenance management device being within a communication threshold distance of the hygiene device. The notification component may evaluate a current operational status of the hygiene device to determine a service notification to provide (e.g., a low battery alert, a refill container level indicator, etc.). The service notification may be provided through the hygiene device or through the maintenance management device to the housekeeper (e.g., a blinking light, an audible notification, a textual notification, etc.).

An apparatus for automatically dispensing a fluid includes a container adapted to carry a supply of fluid, and a valve connected to the container, wherein actuation of the valve dispenses the fluid. Also included is an apparatus position indicator proximally associated with the container and an object sensor positioned near the valve. The object sensor monitors an area below where the valve dispenses when open and upon detection of an object opens the valve. Initial positioning of the apparatus triggers the apparatus position indicator to generate an appropriate signal until the object sensor is properly positioned. Once positioned the device may be permanently secured. A control circuit within the apparatus also allows programming of lighting indicators, dispense cycle size, and dispense quantities. The control circuit also provides for overload protection, motor braking and RF shielding.

A universal adapter clip used in connection with a container that is received within a soap dispenser having a key-plate, the clip including a hollow body attachable to the container, a flange extending radially outward of the body, and a tab extending rearwardly from the body and axially spaced from the flange to receive the key-plate therebetween upon insertion of the container within the dispenser.

A computer process which permits easy management of one or more season ticket packages for a ticket administrator. A schedule of games is color-coded to readily indicate ticket availability. The color-codes indicate to the user whether tickets for the game in question are all available, partially available, or not available. The user may place requests for tickets and, should more than one ticket package be available, indicate the ticket package for which tickets are requested. A ticket administrator can review the ticket requests, and convert the ticket requests into a reservation, whereupon the schedule codes are updated to conform with the modified ticket availability.
