An electrical connector for a multi-wire electrical cable includes two cable-side electrical contact elements including associated terminals to each of which is to be connected a wire of the electrical cable, and two output-side electrical contact elements which are spaced apart from the cable-side electrical contact elements and from each of which projects an electrical connector element via which an electrical connection can be established to a mating connector. An active electrical device is disposed between the cable-side contact elements and the output-side contact elements. The active electrical device is placed on the contact elements, such that the active electrical device is in electrical contact with each of the contact elements, and such that the cable-side contact elements and the output-side contact elements are electrically connected to each other. The output-side contact elements are separated and axially spaced apart from the cable-side contact elements.

Electrical plug-in connector for a multicore electrical cable

An interconnection includes a circuit board assembly and a hybrid cable assembly. The circuit board assembly includes first and second outer layer assemblies and an intermediate layer assembly. The first and second outer layer assemblies each include an electrically conductive layer. A cable-receiving space is formed at a first side edge of the circuit board assembly. The hybrid cable assembly includes a dielectric waveguide system having a core and a cladding and being configured to transmit a radar wave in a frequency range from about 70 to about 300 GHz. A first conductor system configured to transmit power and/or data is disposed adjacent to the dielectric waveguide system and includes an electrically conductive inner conductor assembly inserted into the cable-receiving space and galvanically connected to a first inner-conductor connection region. The core of the dielectric waveguide system is inserted into the cable-receiving space and disposed at a waveguide connection region.

Interconnection including a hybrid cable assembly and a circuit board assembly

An electrical connector for a multi-wire electrical cable includes at least two cable-side electrical contact elements, including associated terminals to each of which is to be connected a wire of the electrical cable, and at least two output-side electrical contact elements, from each of which projects an electrical connector element by which an electrical connection is establishable to a mating connector. A carrier body is disposed between the cable-side electrical contact elements and the output-side electrical contact elements. The cable-side electrical contact elements, the output-side electrical contact elements and the carrier body are disposed in a spaced-apart relationship to each other, and the cable-side and output-side contact elements are electrically connected to each other via an electrical device disposed on the carrier body.

An electrical cable includes at least two wires extending side by side along a longitudinal cable direction. The wires are electrically insulated from each other by an insulation. An electrical device is in electrical contact with the respective wires. A flexible carrier surrounds the wires annularly in cross section, and the electrical device is mounted on an inner side of the flexible carrier which faces the wires.

An electrical connector includes at least two electrical connector elements extending side by side along a longitudinal direction, each of the electrical connector elements being connectable to a respective wire of an associated electrical cable. An electrical device is in electrical contact with the respective electrical connector elements. A flexible carrier bears inwardly against the electrical connector elements. The electrical device is mounted on an inner side of the flexible carrier which faces the connector elements.

An interconnection includes a cable assembly and a board assembly. The cable assembly includes a cable having an inner conductor. The board assembly comprises an intermediate layer disposed between first and second outer layers, a recess disposed between the first and second outer layers so as to form a cable-receiving space at a first side edge, and a first inner-conductor contact opening extending through at least one of the first and second outer layers and opening into the cable-receiving space. The inner conductor is inserted at the first side edge into the cable-receiving space and is disposed at an offset in a longitudinal direction relative to the first inner-conductor contact opening. The inner conductor is electrically conductively soldered via a first soldered inner-conductor connection to a first inner-conductor connection region of the first and/or second outer layers, at least in a region of the first inner-conductor contact opening.

An electrical connector for a multi-wire electrical cable includes two cable-side electrical contact elements, including associated terminals to each of which is to be connected a wire of the electrical cable, as well as two output-side electrical contact elements, from each of which projects an electrical connector element by which an electrical connection can be established to a mating connector. A carrier body is disposed between the cable-side contact elements and the output-side contact elements. The carrier body forms a support region which extends from a first connecting section to a second connecting section and with which both the cable-side and the output-side contact elements are in connection. At each of the two connecting sections, a respective supporting section of the carrier body extends from the support region in such a way that the support region and the two supporting sections form a ring-shaped circumferential structure.

An electrical connector includes at least two electrical connector elements extending side by side along a longitudinal direction, each of the electrical connector elements being connectable to a respective wire of an associated electrical cable. An electrical device is in electrical contact with the respective electrical connector elements. A flexible carrier surrounds the electrical connector elements annularly in cross section, and the electrical device is mounted on an inner side of the flexible carrier which faces the connector elements.

An electrical connector for a multi-wire electrical cable includes at least two cable-side electrical contact elements including associated terminals to each of which is connected a wire of the electrical cable, and at least two output-side electrical contact elements, from each of which projects an electrical connector element by which a mating connector is electrically connectable. A tubular outer conductor extends along a longitudinal direction from a cable-side end to an output-side end and encloses the cable-side and output-side contact elements. At least one stranded drain wire of the electrical cable contacts a shield of the electrical cable and is guided to the electrical connector separately from the wires of the electrical cable. The outer conductor has at least one second slot extending along the longitudinal direction of the outer conductor, and the drain wire is received in the second slot in the outer conductor.

An electrical connector for a multi-wire electrical cable includes at least two cable-side electrical contact elements including associated electrical terminals to each of which is to be connected a wire of the electrical cable. At least two output-side electrical contact elements, from each of which projects an electrical connector element by which an electrical connection can be established to a mating connector. An electrically conductive carrier body is disposed between the cable-side contact elements and the output-side contact elements. The electrically conductive carrier body carries an electrical device by which the cable-side contact elements and the output-side contact elements are electrically connected to each other. The electrical device is supported by the carrier body without any of the cable-side contact elements or the output-side contact elements being in electrical contact with the carrier body through the electrical device.

An electrical connector for a multi-wire electrical cable has two or more cable-side electrical contact elements including associated electrical terminals to each of which is to be connected a wire of the electrical cable, and has two or more output-side electrical contact elements, from each of which projects an electrical connector element via which an electrical connection is establishable to a mating connector. An inductive electrical device is disposed between the cable-side and the output-side electrical contact elements. The inductive electrical device is integrally formed with the cable-side and/or the output-side electrical contact elements. The cable-side and the output-side electrical contact elements are electrically connected to each other via the inductive electrical device. The inductive electrical device includes a coil having a plurality of integrally formed windings and/or is at least partially enclosed by a jacket of a plastic material having ferromagnetic material mixed in the plastic material.

A shielded electrical cable includes at least two spaced-apart conductors extending side-by-side along a longitudinal cable direction. An insulation electrically insulates the conductors from each other. A cable shield, together with the conductors, extends along the longitudinal cable direction and annularly surrounds the conductors, as seen in cross section. An electrical device is disposed between the conductors and the cable shield. The electrical device is surrounded by the cable shield and disposed on the conductors such that the electrical device is in electrical contact with each of the conductors.

Shielded electrical cable

An electrical cable includes a cable jacket surrounding a cable interior. At least one electrical cable conductor is disposed in the cable interior and has an insulating sheath. A cable shield shields the cable interior. At least one electrically conductive drain wire associated with the cable shield is disposed in the cable interior in electrical contact with the cable shield. The at least one drain wire includes a ferromagnetic material.

A cable for the transmission of signals, includes a plurality of leads, on whose inner conductors an electrically conductive end piece is affixed. At least one of the end pieces includes a first latching element. The cable includes a coupler element, and the coupler element has a body having a longitudinal axis. In addition, the body has parallel feed-throughs, electrically insulated from each other, to accommodate the end pieces. At least one of the feed-throughs includes a second latching element. The end piece is inserted into the feed-through such that the first latching element locks into place with the second latching element. The body furthermore has a first surface and a second surface to guide a mating piece of the coupler element, the first surface having a radially outwardly directed normal vector, and the second surface having a radially inwardly directed normal vector.

An adapter element for serial data transfer in a vehicle, the adapter element including a first housing part, which is designed electrically conductively and is connectable to a shield and a second housing part, which is designed electrically conductively and includes a contact element. The first housing part and the second housing part are disposed such that the second housing part is enclosed by the first housing part in a first region that extends along a longitudinal axis of the adapter element. The contact element is in electrical contact in the first region with the first housing part, and the contact element produces the electrical contact at least in part by the adapter element being configured such that accessibility to the contact element from a position exterior to the adapter element in a direction that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis is ensured. In addition, the second housing part is surrounded on both sides of the first housing part by the first housing part inside a second region, which extends along the longitudinal axis.
