An anemometer having a surface resistor disposed on a substrate and having a meander shaped current path imprinted into it. To permit presetting of the resistance value of the current path, resistance trimming lines are disposed parallel to the partition lines that limit the current path.

Anemometer

An anemometer with a substrate (12) comprising glass material, the length L of the substrate being considerably greater than the width B and the thickness D. The edge areas (20, 22) of the substrate are not substantially heated by the formation of the surface resistor.

A heatable electric resistor for flow meters with short response time and as small a resistance value as possible with meandering printed lines of differing widths is obtained if separate systems of printed lines which are connected parallel to each other or are connected parallel to each other and in series are formed by means of separating cuts and if systems of printed lines which are connected parallel to each other exhibit the same electric resistance.

Heatable electric resistor for flow meters

For temperature compensation in a thermal mass flow meter with heated and unheated electric resistors which are interlocked to a bridge, a variable temperature-independent electric resistor is connected in parallel to the bridge. The sum of the current through the bridge and of the current through the resistor connected in parallel to the bridge functions as measuring signal.

Temperature compensation for a thermal mass flow meter

A device for the measurement of the mass flows of gases and liquids in pipelines by means of an anemometer arrangement, comprising electrical resistors. The temperature dependent measuring and reference resistors together with connecting leads are each surrounded by a protective tube, which in the region of the resistors is provided with a transverse cylindrical bore, the length to diameter ratio of which must be at least 1.5.
