A mobile radio compensator () comprises an adjustable signal-level amplification means () and a central detection means () in order to detect the signal level of the transmission signals. An adjustment and/or control means () can adjust a signal amplification, produced by the signal-level amplification means (), of the transmission signals on the basis of the signal level detected by the detection means (). A decoupling means () comprising at least two decoupling signal paths () is provided, wherein the decoupling signal paths () are connected to a power adding means () of which the output () is in turn connected to the detection means (). The decoupling means () comprises a filter means () which is arranged on or in the at least two decoupling signal paths (), wherein the passbands (&#x394;f, &#x394;f, &#x394;f) for each of the at least two decoupling signal paths () differ. The decoupling signal paths () comprise an adjustable amplification means (), which are alternately switched on and off by the adjustment and/or control means ().

A circuit arrangement for compensating for signal attenuation during the transmission of transmission signals of a mobile communications device includes at least one amplifier is switched out of the signal transmission path or is deenergized, or does not amplify, attenuate or forward the detected input signal, unless an input signal level is detected which is greater than or equal to the input signal detection level (S) or a trigger level (S) which is at most 10 dB higher than the same. Alternatively or in combination, the amplifier is operated at a variable amplification factor in an adjustment range (X) which begins at an input signal detection level (S) or a trigger level (S) which is at most 10 dB higher than the same, and extends to cover higher signal levels than these, wherein, if the input signal detection level (S) or the trigger level (S) is reached or exceeded, the input signal is either non-amplified or is attenuated at an amplification factor&#x2264;1.
