A nozzle assembly for a cold spray deposition system includes a nozzle body with an axial bore. The axial bore defines a converging segment, a diverging segment downstream of the converging segment, and a throat fluidly connected between the converging and diverging segments of the axial bore. A particulate conduit is fixed within the axial bore and extends along the axial bore diverging segment for issuing solid particulate into the diverging segment of the axial bore.

Cold spray nozzles

A method for reducing coke deposits includes heating an alcohol-fuel mixture to decompose alcohol and form water to produce a fuel-water mixture and delivering the fuel-water mixture to a carbon-steam gasification catalyst. The fuel-water mixture reacts with the carbon-steam gasification catalyst such that coke deposits are prevented from remaining in a space near the carbon-steam gasification catalyst.

Method for reducing coke deposition

A nacelle assembly for a turbine engine has a cowl. The cowl extends along an axis and has an exterior surface spaced from an interior surface. The interior surface forms an air inlet for directing airflow to the turbine engine. An opening is disposed on the cowl. A device for creating suction through the opening is in fluid communication with the opening. The opening removes a portion of a boundary layer flow through the cowl, thereby providing higher energy flow along the interior surface.

A nacelle assembly for a turbine engine has a cowl. The cowl extends along an axis and has an exterior surface spaced from an interior surface. The interior surface forms an air inlet for directing airflow to the turbine engine. A turbulator for creating turbulence is disposed on one of the interior surface and the exterior surface.
