The invention relates to a fluid pump that has an electric motor with a shaft and an impeller with an outer diameter, that is connected to the shaft for conjoint rotation. A maximum volumetric flow and a maximum pressure difference (dp) can be generated in the fluid pump by the rotating impeller. A characteristic index number (K) for the fluid pump is greater than 350 kW/m. The index number (K) corresponds to the product of the maximum volumetric flow and the maximum pressure difference in the fluid pump divided by the square of the outer diameter of the impeller.

High speed coolant pump

The invention relates to a fluid pump () for a fuel cell system. The fluid pump () thereby has an impeller unit () comprising an impeller (), an inlet side () comprising a fluid inlet (), and an outlet side () comprising a fluid outlet (). In addition, the fluid pump () has an electric motor (). The fluid pump () also has a guide channel () for the cooling fluid, wherein the guide channel () fluidically connects the inlet side () and the outlet side () via the impeller () and via the motor (). According to the invention, the fluid pump () is designed in such a way that all of the surfaces within the guide channel (), to which the cooling fluid can be applied directly, do not separate any ions into the cooling fluid. The invention also relates to the fuel cell system comprising the fluid pump ().

Fluid pump

The invention relates to a fluid pump for conveying coolant. The fluid pump comprises an electric motor, a motor housing and an impeller. The motor has a shaft, a rotor, and a stator, and is inside an interior space in the motor housing. The impeller is connected to the shaft in the motor for conjoint rotation. The rotor has numerous blades on one side, which form a radial fan for conveying air inside the interior space.

The invention relates to a fluid pump (), which comprises an impeller unit () with an impeller () and an electric motor () with a motor housing (). The impeller unit () comprises an inlet side () with a fluid inlet () and an outlet side () with a fluid outlet (), wherein a guide channel () fluidically connects the inlet side () and the outlet side () via the impeller (). It is substantial for the invention that the guide channel () is additionally realised in regions by a cooling fluid jacket () formed in the motor housing ().

A delivery device for delivering a liquid may include a housing, a bearing, a shaft seal, a hollow space, and a collection space. A shaft may be arranged in the housing. The shaft may be non-rotatably connected to a delivery mechanism arranged outside the housing. The bearing may be arranged in the housing and may rotatably mount the shaft. The shaft seal may be arranged axially between the bearing and the delivery mechanism and may seal the housing. The shaft seal may be arranged radially outside the shaft. The hollow space may be formed axially between the bearing and the shaft seal. The collection space may be arranged radially on a side of the hollow space facing away from the shaft. The collection space may be fluidically connected to the hollow space via a drain opening. The hollow space may expand radially, axially between the bearing and the shaft seal.

Delivery device for delivering a liquid

A viscous coupling may include: a housing part and an input body rotatable relative to the housing part that at least partially delimit an interior space; a shaft rotatable relative to the housing part and on which an output body arranged in the interior space may be formed for conjoint rotation with the shaft; a coupling region formed between the output and input bodies and configured to hold a viscous fluid to assure a coupling between the input body and the output body; a holding chamber for collecting coolant leaking from the coolant pump; a housing wall conformed integrally with the housing part and partially delimiting the holding chamber; and an actuator housing and an electric actuator therein by which a degree of the coupling between the input body and the output body may be adjustable. The actuator housing may at least partially cover the holding chamber.

Viscous coupling for a coolant pump

An electric radiant heater is constructed with a pot detection system for switching on one or more heating areas. The pot detection system operates inductively according to the resonant circuit detuning principle. The sensor consists of a single-turn loop made from thick wire and which in the vicinity of the heating areas is positioned above the latter and just below a glass ceramic plate. In the case of a two-circuit heater, the sensor loop is shaped with clearly defined circumferential areas in said heating areas, so that the signal has a stepped transition between these areas and consequently a pot size detection in adaptation to the heating areas is possible.

Electric radiant heater with an active sensor for cooking vessel

Connecting conductors located within at least one heating field for heating conductors are configured so that they do not luminate in operation and are not bowed or shifted out of place by thermal loading. For this purpose the conductor is corrugated and also securely anchored at regular center-spacings, it having with respect to the heating resistor greater resistance cross-sections. This achieves for a very simple construction an optically advantageous glow pattern of the heater in every operating mode.

Heater

For producing a radiant heater it is proposed to produce a flat disk-shaped tablet as a separate thermally insulating molding outside of the carrier dish of the radiant heater. On this, heating conductors in the form of corrugated strips provided with fastening feet are pressed into the flat top surface of the tablet. In conclusion the radiant heater is fitted by insertion of this prefabricated component.

Method of producing a radiant heater and radiant heater

At least one radiant heating resistor (10) formed from a corrugated flat material band has in different orientations projections (28) projecting from a corrugated longitudinal edge (14), which on the one hand for retaining purposes engage in an insulation (3) and on the other hand form longitudinal portions (39) with a slightly lower electrical resistance and which for the conventional operating power appear dark compared with the intermediate, visibly glowing longitudinal portions (38). Thus, on putting into operation, there is a very rapidly starting, punctiform lighting up of the corresponding longitudinal portions (38), which then spreads out to a wavy line, as well as a very reliable anchoring of the heating resistor (10).

Heater, particularly for kitchen appliances

For producing an electric radiant heater a thin heating resistance material strip is placed upright on an insulator. It has foot portions, which are embedded in the heating conductor material. The foot portions are only connected by thin connecting webs to the heating area and are differently shaped and/or oriented to the corrugated heating conductor strip.

Electric radiant heater and method for its manufacture

A microporous thermal insulation molding comprising compressed thermal insulation material comprising 30-100% by weight of finely divided metal oxide, 0-50% by weight of opacifier, 0-50% by weight of fiber material and 0-15% by weight of inorganic binder, wherein at least one surface of the molding has channel pores having a cross-sectional area of the pore of 0.01-8 mm.sup.2 and having an intrusion depth of 5-100%, based on the thickness of the molding, with 0.004-10 channel pores being present per 1 cm.sup.2 of the molding surface.

Microporous thermal insulation molding

Heating resistors and/or series resistors (10) are curved in flat corrugation manner from flat band and are so pressed into the bottom (7) of an insulation (3), that they are only prevented by friction from rising from the bottom (7). The resistor (10) has non-offset, uninterrupted, through-edge faces (14, 15). Thus, in the case of a very simple construction, a surface-specific, high power density can be obtained.
