A cable sleeve seal including a seamed pipe section and end-face seal members, with a sealing insert in sealing regions between the end face seal members and an inside of the pipe section and in a longitudinal seam of the pipe section, whereby the sealing insert is fixedly arranged in the sealing regions and the longitudinal seam. Moreover, the sealing insert merges from the sealing regions at the end face seal members into the longitudinal seam without interruption.

The invention provides the suspension device for suspending a cable sleeve or fitting on a support cable. The suspension device includes a strip-shaped securing part which has one end fashioned as a hook and the other end fashioned as a mounting lug for securing to end members of the cable sleeve. Preferably, the securing part is provided with an arrangement to prevent accidental disengagement of the hook from the support cable.

A divided sealing ring is provided for cable sleeves and the like is a hose-shaped sealing ring with cut ends joined by a connector element which bridges the contacting plane of the divided ring. Individual coupling elements are firmly mounted in the inside of the sealing ring and are mutually couplable to one another in an engaging fashion. As a result, optimum sealing conditions are created which are preserved even under mechanical or thermal stresses in the region of the seal.
