A sealed anti-friction bearing (), including an annular sealing washer () which seals a rolling-body chamber () in the axial direction, wherein the sealing washer () has a fastening section () for connecting it fixedly to a bearing ring () of the anti-friction bearing () so as to rotate with it, and wherein the sealing washer () is anchored with its fastening section () in a circumferential groove () of the bearing ring. According to the invention, it is provided that the fastening section () has a first clamping element in the form of a barb () and a second clamping element in the form of an annular bead (), and that the barb () and the bead () enter into a non-positive connection with oppositely lying surfaces of the groove ().

Sealed anti-friction bearing

A toroidal bearing () including a multiplicity of barrel-shaped rolling bodies () which roll about a bearing axis () between an outer ring () having a raceway () and an inner ring () having a raceway () is provided. According to the invention, on a circumferential surface () facing away from the raceway () thereof, the outer ring () and/or the inner ring () has at least one lubricating groove (), wherein the lubricating groove () is connected to the raceway () via at least one lubricating bore ().

Toroidal bearing

The invention relates to a rolling-element bearing unit for rotatably bearing two components, nested into each other, which rotate about separate rotational axes that are at an angle to each other, especially the roll core and roll sleeve of a width stretching roll for a paper machine. The rolling-element bearing unit according to the invention comprises an outer rolling-element bearing for rotationally bearing the outer component, a pivoting bearing carrying the outer rolling-element bearing and allowing adjustment of the angle of the outer rolling-element bearing, an angularly adjustable inner rolling-element bearing for rotationally bearing the inner component, and an eccentric which consist of an inner and an outer eccentric ring via which eccentric rings the centers of the two rolling-element bearings can be adjusted in relation to each other.

Rolling-element bearing unit

The invention relates to a self-aligning antifriction bearing () comprising at least one first row () of rolling bodies () and a second row () of rolling bodies () adjacent to said first row () of rolling bodies (), whereby every row () comprises balls () and rollers () disposed peripherally about a central axis of the self-aligning antifriction bearing (). The bearing is characterized in that the balls () have a greater outer diameter () than the rollers ().

Self-aligning antifriction bearing and cage for said self-aligning antifriction bearing

A barrel-shaped bearing which comprises an external ring and an internal ring, at least one row of barrel-shaped rolling bodies arranged therebetween, the cage in the form of a disk which turns together with the rolling bodies, engages inside a peripheral groove around each rolling body and is provided with recesses corresponding to the number of the rolling bodies of the one row arranged on the external periphery of the cage. The total rolling surface of the internal ring is embodied such that the cross section thereof is concave along the entire axial length of the rolling body. The smallest distance between both sides of the cavity of the disk-shaped cage in the area of the external periphery thereof is less than the diameter of a rolling body in the area of the peripheral groove thereof.

Barrel-shaped bearing

Radial self-aligning rolling bearing including an outer ring, an inner ring, and balls which are arranged to roll in the raceways of the rings, and also spherical rollers together as rolling elements, which are all guided in a cage. The balls are larger in diameter than the spherical rollers, so that the balls exclusively take up the entire bearing load when the bearing load is small and both the balls and the rollers take up a larger bearing load.

Radial self-aligning rolling bearing

A self-aligning roller bearing includes an external ring with one curved external track, an internal ring with two curved internal tracks, two rows of rollers disposed between the external and internal rings, and a guide ring. The guide ring is located between the rows of rollers and is preferably configured as an circular annular disk. The guide ring has a rectangular cross section with the center line of the cross section running parallel to the bearing axis. The guide ring may also be dimensioned in such a way that the rollers are axially prestressed. The front faces of the rollers which face the guide ring are configured in a manner that the front faces only touch the guide ring at one point.

Self-aligning roller bearing

An antifriction bearing having one or two rows of rolling bodies has at least one guide ring guided on the outside ring race for guidance of the rollers and/or of the separator. The guide ring comprises two partial circumference ring segments which are arranged loosely between or adjacent one or each of the rows of rolling bodies and are held in form-locked manner in the spherical surface of the outer ring due to resilience of the ring segments.

Guide ring for roller bearing

To provide good cage guidance in a window cage for a preferable flangeless spherical roller bearing in order that the bearing might achieve higher loads, the cage includes two annular axially spaced apart ribs and transverse ribs that extend between the annular ribs and define cage pockets. At least one and preferably two and preferably opposite pockets of the cage are loading pockets. The annular ribs are radially outside the pitch circle of the bearing, but at the loading pockets, those ribs are recessed inward nearly on the pitch circle of the bearing and preferably outward thereof about the thickness of the rib material. The angle between the center of the loading pocket and the adjacent pocket is larger than the angle between the centers of other adjacent pockets to facilitate loading of the loading pockets.

Window cage

A two row angular-contact roller bearing having on undivided bearing ring and one axially divided bearing ring with a respective row of rolling elements rolling over each of the axial sections of the divided ring. The respective comb separator for each of the rows of rolling elements has an annular collar that projects axially toward the annular collar on the other separator. One separator annular collar is radially inclined inwardly and the other separator collar is radially inclined outwardly. The collars are so placed as to interfere, and they are sufficiently flexible as to deform and upon the collars being pushed together for causing the collars to loosely interlock sufficiently to enable one row of rolling elements and their separator to rotate with respect to the other. Elevations defined on the divided race ring sections support the axially inward sides of the rows of rolling elements. A shoulder on the divided race ring section engages the axially outward side of the row of rolling elements. In one embodiment, a radially inwardly inclined, axially inwardly projecting tapering retaining collar on one of the separators extends into a cooperating radial groove in its associated divided ring section for defining the axially inward support side for the respective row of rolling elements.

Two row angular-contact roller bearing

The outer ring of the support roller mounted on an anti-friction bearing of a rolling mill has a soft core that is case hardened on its inner bore surface and on its outer peripheral surface, while not being case hardened at its axial end face sides, so that the outer ring will retain a cylindrical shape both for the inner bore surface, which rides on the rollers of the bearing, and the outer peripheral surface which supports the roll in a rolling mill.

Highly loaded case hardened ring

A cage for lipless roller bearings, in which two rows of bearings are separated and supported by a support ring that is wedge- or cusp-shaped in cross-section at the longitudinally inward ends of the roller rows. The support ring surfaces facing the roller ends are so shaped (e.g. having a surface that is inclined to the roller end, or having a larger radius of curvature than the curved roller end, with the axes of curvature being placed inward of the roller axes) that there is defined a lubrication-receiving space between the support ring and the ends of the supported rollers which increases in width toward the radial interior of the bearing, to improve lubrication characteristics. Advantageously the cage may be used with a lipless self-aligning roller bearing, or a lipless conical or tapered roller bearing.

Cage for lipless roller bearings

The disclosure concerns an anti-friction bearing between a rotating shaft and an external bushing. The bearing includes two axially spaced apart rows of bearing balls. A feed bushing is disposed in the space between the shaft and the external bushing and between the two rows of bearings. The feed bushing is open at the axial ends for dispensing lubricant to the rows of bearings at the axial ends of the feed bushing. The feed bushing holds lubricant, such as grease, in itself for being dispensed at the axial ends of the feed bushing. A porous elastic material may be disposed in the feed bushing for being impregnated with the lubricant. The feed bushing, and also the porous material if used, are elastic and resilient to permit deflection of the shaft with respect to the external bushing. Various shape and configuration feed bushings are disclosed. A lubricant recharging hole passes through the external bushing and communicates to the feed bushing.
