An apparatus for igniting a fuel mixture provides an ignition system for generating a high-voltage ignition voltage, a circuit device comprising a circuit for superimposing a high-frequency signal on to the high-voltage ignition voltage, a spark plug in an engine block, and a transmission element having a high-voltage conductor which is guided in an insulation element. The high-voltage conductor is used for transmitting the ignition voltage, onto which the high-frequency signal has been superimposed, to the spark plug. Further provided is an electrically conducting shielding element which surrounds the high-voltage conductor in an electromagnetically shielding manner at least along one portion of the longitudinal axis of the high-voltage conductor. The shielding element is connected in an electrically conducting manner to a ground potential of the circuit device and establishes a connection between the ground potential of the circuit device and a ground electrode of the spark plug.

The invention relates to an apparatus for igniting a fuel mixture. Set apparatus comprises an ignition system for generating a high-voltage ignition voltage as well as a circuit device comprising a circuit for superimposing a high-frequency signal on to the high-voltage ignition voltage. The apparatus further comprises a spark plug in an engine block as well as a transmission element for transmitting the ignition voltage, onto which the high-frequency signal has been superimposed, to the spark plug. The transmission element includes a contact element which is provided with an electrically conductive coating along at least one portion of the longitudinal axis of the contact element, the impedance of the coding being lower than the impedance of the contact element.

The present invention relates to a circuit for switching an AC voltage. It contains an input terminal able to be connected to an AC voltage source, an output terminal able to be connected to a load impedance, and a first series circuit. This series circuit comprises a diode and a circuit for storing electrical charges. The series circuit has a first end connection that is connected to the input terminal and a second end connection that is connected to the output terminal. The circuit for switching an AC voltage furthermore contains a DC voltage source, which is connected to an electrical connection between the diode and the input terminal or to an electrical connection between the diode and the output terminal and is designed to impress a DC current in the diode. The circuit for switching an AC voltage finally contains a first switch that is connected to an electrical connection between the diode and the circuit for storing electrical charges at one terminal. The first switch is designed to switch between a switching state in which a potential dependent on a reference potential is present at the electrical connection between the diode and the circuit for storing electrical charges, and a switching state in which an electrical floating potential is present in the electrical connection between the diode and the circuit for storing electrical charges.

The present invention relates to an ignition coil for generating a high-voltage pulse with a superimposed high-frequency voltage. The ignition coil comprises a first coil arranged on the primary side, a second coil arranged on the secondary side, a magnetic core and a third coil. The windings of the first coil and of the second coil are wound around the magnetic core. The second coil and the third coil are electrically connected to one another. A high-frequency terminal, which receives the high-frequency voltage, is electrically connected to the second coil and to the third coil.

In a method for manufacturing an electric motor comprising a rotor and a stator a placeholder for a temperature sensor is inserted in the axial direction between a first coil layer and an adjacent second coil layer of a winding head such that the placeholder is situated in a gap-shaped recess extending between the first and the second coil layers, the first coil layer is then pressed onto a circumferential surface of the placeholder and onto the second coil layer and is plastically deformed such that a space between the lateral surfaces of the two coil layers and the circumferential surface of the placeholder is reduced, and a contact surface between the lateral surface of the first coil layer and the circumferential surface of the placeholder is enlarged. By removing the placeholder, a receiving chamber is subsequently formed in the winding head, into which a temperature sensor is then inserted.
