A sealing device has a sensor system for condition monitoring. The sealing device includes a sealing ring with a dynamic sealing section for dynamically sealing abutment at a sealing surface of a machine part and a pretensioning ring for pretensioning the sealing section against the sealing surface having a first section and a second section. The second section can be deflected in a spring-elastic manner in an axial or radial direction relative to the central axis of the sealing device from a first position relative to the first section. The sensor system includes at least one measuring element arranged in the intermediate space on the pretensioning ring, which responds indirectly or directly to a deflection movement of the first section of the pretensioning ring. A sealing arrangement may have such a sealing device.

Sealing device and sealing arrangement with sensor system for condition monitoring

A rotary seal assembly has a first and second machine element spaced apart forming a sealing gap. The first machine element has a seal-holding structure and the second machine element a sealing surface. A rotary seal is held on the seal-holding structure of the first machine element which has a sealing lip, the front side of which faces the sealing surface and at least partially abuts the sealing surface of the second machine element, pretensioned in a dynamically sealing manner. The sealing lip has pockets on its rear side or on its end face facing the high pressure side. The sealing lip on its rear side, in the case of rearwardly arranged pockets, is tensioned against the sealing surface by an elastically deformable pretensioning ring, and is tensioned in the case of the front side pockets by an elastic resilience inherent in the material of the rotary seal.

Rotary seal arrangement and rotary seal with recirculation function

An axial shaft seal ring has a holding portion and a sealing portion, which are connected to one another via an elastically deformable sealing membrane. The sealing membrane has a plurality of spatial structure areas R in the circumferential direction of the shaft seal ring, which serve as a circumferential reserve of the sealing membrane. As a result of a centrifugal force Faccompanying a rotational movement of the shaft seal ring around the central axis thereof and acting on the sealing membrane, an expansion of the sealing membrane in a radial direction is effected at least in the spatial structure areas, in such a manner that the sealing portion is acted upon by the sealing membrane with an axially directed pull force F, which is directed opposite to the pressing force F.

Axial shaft seal ring and seal arrangement

A sealing ring, in particular a radial shaft sealing ring or a rod sealing ring, can be used for sealing a sealing gap which is arranged between two machine elements. The sealing ring comprises an elastically deformable polymer material and a supporting ring which is embedded in a positively locking manner in the polymer material at least in sections. The supporting ring is configured as a 3D-printed part with a multiple-layer construction of its material at least in sections. The material of the supporting ring has a greater modulus than the polymer material. The supporting ring can be widened elastically in a radial direction with respect to the center axis of the sealing ring, and has dimensionally stable first ring segments which are connected to one another in an articulated manner in the circumferential direction of the sealing ring.

A seal arrangement has two machine parts movable toward one another along or about a movement axis. One of the two machine parts forms a seal holding structure and the other forms a sealing surface. A sealing device between the two machine parts is arranged on or in the seal holding structure, wherein the sealing device includes a sealing element and a pre-tensioning element which is separate from the sealing element and by means of which the sealing element is tensioned in the radial direction against the sealing surface of the respectively other machine part. The sealing element is formed by an elastically deformable sealing film. On the sealing film side, the pre-tensioning element forms an embossed structure which presses into the sealing film where the sealing film bears against the sealing surface with a contact pressure progression which corresponds to the embossed structure of the pre-tensioning element.

A seal for sealing a sealing surfacebetween a first machine parthaving a seal accommodating structure, preferably a groove, and a second machine part, which defines the sealing surfaceand can be moved relative to the first machine part. The seal seals a high-pressure area between the machine partsfrom a low-pressure area and has a retaining elementfor positionally fixing the seal in the seal accommodating structure, and a sealing lipwhich is formed on the retaining elementand is made from an elastomeric material having a sealing edgeformed at a free end of the sealing lipfor abutment on the sealing surface. The sealing liphas a high-pressure surface areabordering the high-pressure area, and a low-pressure surface areabordering the low-pressure area. The seal has a supporting element, wherein the supporting elementforms a support of the sealing lipon the low-pressure surface side, the support extending substantially parallel to the sealing edge, with the support being arranged between the sealing edgeand the retaining element
