A toy figure includes a body, a pair of wings, a pair of legs, a tail, and a head converted to generally resemble a bird or other flying creature. The legs and wings are pivotally mounted to the body using a mechanism by which the pivotal movement of the legs in response to the user squeezing and releasing them repeatedly produces a corresponding wing-flapping action. A spring urges the wings to a raised position and urges the legs to a spread position. The head is pivotally supported by the body and a cam follower and cam arrangement couples the head to the wing movement apparatus such that the head moves side-to-side simultaneous with the wing-flapping movement.

A toy figure resembling an insect such as an ant includes an upper torso pivotally coupled to a lower torso. A pair of legs support the lower torso and a pivotally moveable shell portion is attached to the lower torso. A drive button is slidingly supported within the lower torso and is raised against the shell portion by an internal return spring operative upon the button. A pair of arms are secured to the upper torso and are pivotable at their respective elbow joints. The arms support hands which in turn receive the handle grips of a simulated weapon each weapon comprising a pivotal arm and an outer ball and weight. A gear and rack mechanism is driven by the slidable button and is coupled to the upper torso by a flexible shaft such that pressing and releasing the shell portion moves the button and gear rack correspondingly to produce pivotal movement back-and-forth of the upper torso which in turn moves the simulated weapons.

A toy figure resembles a fanciful insect and includes a body supporting a head and a pair of arm-like appendages each supporting a hand. A pair of legs are secured to the body and coupled to feet which in turn support the body in a vertical stance. The body further supports a pair of pivotally coupled wing shells which in turn support a pair of pivotally coupled wings. With the wings and wing shells folded to the closed position, the appearance of an insect shell is provided. With the wing shells and wings pivoted to their respective outward positions, a wing spread approximately twice the normal wing spread is presented. Within the wing shells, a pair of projectile launchers are supported.

Transformable insect-like toy figure

A toy playset is fabricated of a tent like fabric cover to represent a fanciful depiction of an anthill. The tent-like cover is formed about a frontal opening which facilitates viewing of the enclosure interior. A base secured to the tent-like enclosure further supports a vertically extending trunk which in turn supports the upper portion of the tent-like structure together with a platform. The platform further supports a table in a manner facilitating raising or lowering the table. A plurality of projectile launchers are supported by the table. A spring loaded catapult launcher is positioned upon the outer portion of the base and a ball guiding member extends downwardly from an aperture formed in the table to provide a ball rolling path which deposits a ball into the catapult causing a launch of the ball. Additional projectile launchers are provided on the supporting base. The fabric utilized on the tent-like structure is preferably translucent or otherwise light transmissive in character. A plurality of darkened opaque areas resembling silhouettes are formed on the inner surface of the tent-like member. A battery powered light within the tent interior illuminates the silhouettes.

A toy figure representing a fanciful insect includes a stable leg and a pivotally supported spring loaded leg which undergoes a kicking motion when a trigger within the figure is released. The figure also supports a plurality of arm appendages and a pair of pivotally supported wings. An internal drive mechanism couples the pivotal motion of the wings as the user squeezes and releases them together and apart to provide erratic motion of the arms.

A circular hoop for use as an exercise and entertainment hoop includes a hollow tubular plastic body having a decorative layer supported thereon. The decorative layer in turn supports various decoration and patterns. The tubular body further includes a transparent or clear layer of plastic material or the like which captivates the decorative layer upon the tube and provides an abrasion resisting layer which protects the decorative patterns during use. An interior passage is formed within the hollow tube and a plurality of objects such as spherical balls are freely movable therein to provide additional amusement during operation of the exercise and entertainment hoop.

A low-rebound, impact-deformable footbag includes plural panels having peripheral edges which are connected together to define an impact-deformable, semi-collapsible chamber which permits the footbag to assume an arbitrarily-changing, random shape in response to an externally-applied deformation force, such as kicking. The footbag includes at least one panel, a portion of which is formed from an apertured material for providing a view internally of the chamber. Plural lightweight, impact-damping filler members are disposed in the chamber, some of which being viewable through the apertured material. Such filler members are positioned within the chamber for interacting with other such filler members for damping such applied deformation force.
