A method for starting a vertical forced-flow steam generator in a waste-heat steam generator, wherein feed water is fed to the forced-flow steam generator as working fluid, and there flows firstly through a feed-water preheater and then through an evaporator and is at least partly evaporated, wherein the partly evaporated working fluid is fed to a water separation system, in which non-evaporated working fluid is separated from evaporated working fluid and is collected, in which at least part of the non-evaporated working fluid is fed geodetically to the evaporator and, beginning from a certain quantity of accumulating non-evaporated working fluid, a remaining part is automatically removed from the water separation system. A corresponding device is for starting a vertical forced-flow steam generator according to the method.

Steam generator pipe having a turbulence installation body

A resistance point welding apparatus for fixing a turbulence installation body to an inner wall of a steam generator pipe, having a welding head, which is introduced into the pipe and includes a lance having an electrically conductive material, a point welding electrode, which projects out of the lance in the radial direction, an effective element and an insulation body, which is opposite the point welding electrode in the radial direction and is moved by the effective element, is provided. The lance is tapered at a defined distance from the welding head end such that the insulation body and the point welding electrode press the turbulence installation body against the inner wall of the pipe when the effective element is activated. When a welding stream is impressed on the lance, a point-like welding stream flows via the point welding electrode to a counter electrode arranged outside the pipe.

Resistance spot welding apparatus

A steam generator is provided. The steam generator has a combustion chamber having a peripheral wall formed at least partially from gas-proof, welded steam generator pipes, at least two additional inner walls formed at least partially from additional steam generator pipes which are arranged inside the combustion chamber. The inner walls are connected one behind the other on the flow medium side by an intermediate collector. The steam generator has a high service life and is reliable. The flow medium on the inlet of the inner wall upstream of the intermediate collector has a lower temperature than that of the flow medium on an inlet of the peripheral wall.

Steam generator

A method for operating a steam generator comprising a combustion chamber having a plurality of evaporator heating surfaces which are connected in parallel on the flow medium side is provided. An object is to provide a steam generator which has a particularly long service life and which is particularly reliable. For this purpose, a flow medium is introduced into an inlet of a first evaporator heating surface at a temperature which is lower than the temperature of the flow medium introduced into the inlet of a second evaporator heating surface.

Method for operating a steam generator

A continuous flow steam generator includes a combustion chamber, having substantially rectangular cross-section and a lower and upper combustion chamber region, and has a horizontal gas pass connected downstream of the combustion chamber on the flue-gas side. Gas-tight and gas-permeable peripheral walls of the generator are completely or partly made of steam generator pipes welded together and through which a flow medium can flow, and collectors are arranged and connected to the steam generator pipes such that groups of steam generator pipes connected in parallel form heating surface segments of the peripheral walls. First passage collectors are arranged and connected such that the flow medium from first heating surface segments of two parallel first peripheral walls of the lower combustion chamber region are mixed with the fluid medium from second heating surface segments of second peripheral walls, standing perpendicular to the first peripheral walls, of the upper combustion chamber region.

Continuous flow steam generator with a two-pass boiler design

A once-through steam generator includes a combustion chamber, the walls of which comprise vertically arranged evaporator pipes connected to one another in gas-tight fashion by pipe webs, through which evaporator pipes flows a flow medium from bottom to top. The evaporator pipes are combined by upstream inlet collectors to form more intensely and less intensely heated pipe groups. A feed water supply is assigned to respective inlet collectors. At least one regulating valve regulates throttling of the mass flow of the flow medium into the evaporator pipes. To determine a control variable for the regulating valve, temperature measurement device measures outlet temperatures of the flow medium exiting the evaporator pipes. Each of the more intensely and less intensely heated pipe groups is assigned to one of the inlet collectors and to an outlet collector, and each of the outlet collectors has one of the temperature measurement devices.

Once-through steam generator

A method for operating a directly heated, solar-thermal steam generator is provided. As per the method, a nominal value {dot over (M)}for the supply water mass flow {dot over (M)} is conducted to an apparatus for adjusting the supply water mass flow {dot over (M)} wherein, at the adjustment of the nominal value {dot over (M)}for the supply water mass flow {dot over (M)}, account is taken of a correction value K, by which the thermal effects of storage or withdrawal of thermal energy in an evaporator are corrected.

Method for operating a directly heated, solar-thermal steam generator

A method for operating a recirculating waste heat steam generator is provided, in which in a pressure stage of the recirculating waste heat steam generator, the feed water mass flow is guided on the basis of a specified desired value in order to control the water level in a drum. The method should give a recirculating waste heat steam generator a particularly high degree of efficiency and simultaneously a particularly high level of operational flexibility. For this purpose the thermal input introduced into an evaporator of the pressure stage is used as input variable in the determination of the desired value.

Method for operating a recirculating waste heat steam generator

A fossil-fired steam generator for a steam power station includes a number of economizer, evaporator and superheater heating surfaces forming a flow path through which a flow medium flows in a plurality of pressure stages. In a high-pressure stage, an overflow line is connected to the flow path on its inlet side and leads to an injection valve disposed upstream in the flow path from a superheater heating surface in a medium-pressure stage on the flow medium side. The overflow line has two supply lines of which a first supply line branches off on the flow medium side upstream from a high-pressure preheater and a second supply line branches off on the flow medium side downstream from the high-pressure preheater.

A forced-flow steam generator includes first and second steam generator pipes which form a surrounding wall, wherein the first and second steam generator pipes are welded in a gas-tight fashion and are traversable by flow in a vertical direction. A passage collector is arranged within the surrounding wall, wherein the passage collector connects the first steam generator pipes with the second steam generator pipes. The first steam generator pipes are connected at an outlet side to an inlet side of the second steam generator pipes, wherein the second steam generator pipes are connected in series with the first steam generator pipes. Each of the second generator pipes has a restrictor device. Further, a power plant with a forced-flow steam generator is provided.

Forced-flow steam generator

A continuous steam generator including a combustion chamber with a plurality of burners for fossil fuel is provided. A vertical gas duct is connected downstream of the combustion chamber on the hot gas side, in an upper region via a horizontal gas duct. The outside wall of the combustion chamber is formed from evaporation pipes which are welded together in a gas-tight manner and mounted upstream of a water separator system on the flow medium side and from superheater pipes which are welded together in a gas-tight manner and mounted downstream of the water separator system. The water separator system includes a plurality of water separation elements, each element includes an inlet tube which is connected to the respective upstream evaporation for tubes, which extend into a water evacuation tube. A distributer element is arranged on the evaporator side between the respective water separator element and the inlet collector.

Continuous steam generator

A method for operating a once-through steam generator including an evaporator, in which a feeding mass flow of a flow medium is supplied using a feed pump to the evaporator and at least partially evaporated there, wherein flow medium that has not evaporated is separated in a separator arranged downstream of the evaporator and a circulating mass flow of the separated flow medium is returned using a circulating pump to the evaporator, and the mass flow referred to as the evaporator mass flow of the flow medium flowing through the evaporator is additively composed of the feeding mass flow and the circulating mass flow. In a low-load interval, the feeding mass flow is increased with increasing load while the circulating mass flow is kept substantially constant, in a moderate load interval the feeding mass flow is further increased with increasing load and the circulating mass flow is reduced to zero.

Method for operating a once-through steam generator and steam generator designed for carrying out the method

A method is provided for controlling a short-term increase in power in a steam turbine including a fossil-fired steam generator having a flow path through which a flow medium flows. The method involves tapping off the flow medium from the flow path in a pressure stage and injecting it into the flow path on the flow-medium side upstream of a super heater heating surface of the respective pressure stage. A first characteristic value is used as a controlled variable for the amount of injected flow medium. The first characteristic value is characteristic of the deviation between the outlet temperature of a final super heater heating surface of the respective pressure stage on the flow medium side and a predetermined nominal temperature value. The nominal temperature value is reduced and, for the duration of the reduction in the nominal temperature value, the characteristic value is temporarily increased over-proportionately to the deviation.
