A wheel support or a pivot bearing of a vehicle includes a receiving molding for a ball-joint pin of a track rod for changing the toe angle of a wheel rotatably secured to the wheel support or pivot bearing. The receiving molding is provided with an elastomer layer which lies at least partly in a force transmission path from the ball-joint pin to the wheel support or pivot bearing. The elasticity or possible elastic deformability of the elastomer layer is lower in the receiving molding sections via which a greater force component is transmitted, in particular in the range of smaller track angles, when the track rod is moved in order to steer the wheel than in receiving molding sections via which a smaller force component or no force component is transmitted when the track rod is moved in order to steer the wheel.

A bearing spring/damper system of a vehicle wheel has a hydraulic vibration damper consisting of a damper cylinder and a damper piston guided therein, the piston rod of which hydraulic vibration damper is fastened to the vehicle body, whilst the damper cylinder is supported to a wheel guiding element. A pretension spring is clamped functionally between the damper piston and a pretension piston which can be displaced hydraulically in the longitudinal direction of the piston rod. The pretension piston is supported hydraulically with respect to the damper cylinder by a support chamber filled with the hydraulic medium of the vibration damper, and can be displaced by a conveying device, which conveys hydraulic medium into or out of the support chamber. The pretension spring is parallel-connected in every possible position of the pretension piston of a bearing spring ultimately clamped between the vehicle body and the wheel for force transmission.

A steering assembly for a motor vehicle has a wheel carrier to which a wheel can be secured, a strut via which the wheel carrier is mounted on a vehicle body in an articulated manner, a first transverse link mounted on the wheel carrier in an articulated manner, and a second transverse link mounted on the wheel carrier in an articulated manner. The first transverse link and the second transverse link are coupled to one another on their side facing away from the wheel carrier by a connection member. The connection member is rotatably mounted on the vehicle body.

The invention provides an axle for wheels of a two-track motor vehicle. The axle has, on each vehicle side, a wheel carrier, a damper strut, a transverse link and a transverse leaf spring which controls the wheel at least partially laterally and/or in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The damper strut has a damper tube and a damper piston which can be moved in the damper tube along a damper longitudinal axis. The damper strut is attached by the damper tube to the wheel carrier. The transverse link is attached by a wheel-carrier-side end region to the wheel carrier. The transverse leaf spring extends substantially in the vehicle transverse direction and has at least one wheel-carrier-side end region. The transverse leaf spring is attached by the wheel-carrier-side end region thereof to the damper strut and is supported on the damper strut.
