A method includes generating a first radar signal in a transmission channel of a first radar chip based on an oscillator signal and emitting the first radar signal via a first antenna, wherein the first radar signal is modulated based on a synchronization signal used in the first radar chip, generating a second radar signal in a transmission channel of a second radar chip based on the oscillator signal and emitting the second radar signal via a second antenna, wherein the second radar signal is modulated based on a synchronization signal used in the second radar chip, receiving an RF sensor signal by means of a sensor circuit, wherein the RF sensor signal has a superposition of a portion of the power of the first radar signal and a portion of the power of the second radar signal, and determining a measurement signal that depends on the RF sensor signal.

Calibration of a radar system

A device includes a semiconductor chip including an electrical contact arranged on a main surface of the semiconductor chip. The device includes an external connection element configured to provide a first coax-like electrical connection between the device and a printed circuit board, wherein the first coax-like electrical connection includes a section extending in a direction vertical to the main surface of the semiconductor chip. The present disclosure relates to adjusting a suppression signal for suppressing a radio frequency (RF) interference signal in a received signal. A method includes generating an RF signal having a first frequency offset from an interference frequency; generating the suppression signal having a second frequency offset from the interference frequency; coupling the suppression signal into the received signal in order to generate a receiver input signal; mixing the receiver input signal with the RF signal in order to generate a mixer output signal; adjusting an amplitude of the suppression signal in order to align amplitudes of different components of the mixer output signal; coupling an adjusted suppression signal, having the interference frequency and the adjusted amplitude, into the received signal; and varying a phase of the adjusted suppression signal in order to reduce a frequency component of the mixer output signal that has the first frequency offset.

Apparatus and method for adjusting a suppression signal for suppressing an RF interference signal

An apparatus for determining whether an output signal from an injection locked oscillator is synchronized with an injection signal coming from an input oscillator has a distorter and a level detector. The distorter uses the output signal from the injection locked oscillator to generate a distorter output signal which has a difference tone in a predetermined frequency band if the output signal from the injection locked oscillator is not synchronized with the injection signal. The level detector is designed to detect a level of the difference tone. The apparatus determines, on the basis of the level of the difference tone, whether the output signal from the injection locked oscillator is synchronized with the injection signal.
